Malvern: soggiorni in cottage

We loved staying at the cottage. The amenities were above par and the place was so clean and well stocked. We loved the private yard. We were sad to find the yard was not enclosed with the fence, but it was private and serene. We would stay there again, but wouldn’t bring our dog.

Audrey’s cottage was the perfect peaceful place we needed for a short getaway bear Lancaster! We loved the amenities that were perfect for our stay! The hot tub was easy to use and very enjoyable! Jennifer & Mark from Maryland

This cottage was beautiful. The surroundings were peaceful and the amenities were very thoughtful. We loved the coffee bar and the hot tub, enjoyed visiting the animals, and had fun with the water colors. I would absolutely recommend this stay to friends and family!

This is our third stay at Sophia’s Cottage, and it was a wonderful as ever. Sophia takes great care to ensure a comfortable stay from the start. With fresh flowers and a welcome gift (nice bottle of pinot noir!), it’s a wonderful start to the stay! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but the house is also in walking distance from terrific restaurants if you’d rather go out! There are lots of lovely touches around the house so your stay feels home-y. Throw blankets and pillows, nice shower gel and shampoo, teas and coffees. The beds are very comfortable, and the neighbourhood is peaceful, so good nights sleep guaranteed. It’s great to have washer and dryer and a dishwasher to make things easy. Sophia is kind and responsive, and a wonderful host. We will absolutely be back and look forward to it!

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The home itself has plenty of space with multiple areas for us to gather as a group and is in quiet and private location. The combo of the hot tub and the view out the back of the house was amazing! We really loved our stay here and would definitely book this place again.

The property is beautiful, its just like the pictures. The location is peaceful and quite. Its a perfect spot to just to relax and reconnect. Can't say enough good things about the cottage. Clean, Bed was nice, view was amazing, Hot tub, kayaks, plenty of firewood for a beach fire. During our stay we went to main street in North East it was about a 7 minute drive. It was a nice little town to walk. Chesapeake Coffee Co for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. We had lunch at Woody's crab shack. Ordered in pizza from Bella Pizza, Went to Nauti Goose. I was underwhelmed at all restaurants and by all meals. If we come back again, I'd get groceries to cook, there is a grill to use (we didn't) and stay in, just take in the view and enjoy the peaceful waves. We would defiantly recommend and hopefully be back again soon.

Loved this place. Couldn’t say enough about how nice it was. It actually was even better than the pictures showed. We hung out on the back deck with a hot tub and the grill and comfy chairs. Bedroom and bathrooms primo. Kitchen was so organized and stocked with equipment and utensils and everything you might need. This was important for us as we cooked almost every meal here We totally enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The host was very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We enjoyed going to local greenhouses and gardens. Highly recommend this place.

It was so relaxing sitting by the canal. We walked around and the town is so nice. This cottage was only 15 miles from where we needed to travel for work, so was perfect. I knew about the ship ladder, but didn't know about my husband's fear of ladders hahaha. I liked it up there, was a cute cozy space:)

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

My daughter and son-in-law were in town from MB, Fl. To visit my other daughter and son-in-law who live in Ardmore, PA. They just had their first baby (a little boy). I decided to rent an airbnb close to them (I live in NJ) so that we can be together for 3-days visiting with the new baby. I also had my granddaughter and my 3-year-old great grandson with us. The house was just the right space needed. I particularly liked the layout of the house. The 3 bedrooms were on the 2nd floor. The middle bedroom with the two wooden full size beds was perfect for my granddaughter and her son. I had the room adjacent to that room which had a separate stairway leading to the 1st floor into the kitchen and downstairs bathroom; which was gorgeous. I didn’t have to go through the middle bedroom to access the first floor or a bathroom. The 2nd floor had a full beautiful bathroom too. Clem Macrone park was nearby (7min drive). A pristine play ground/park prefect to take my grandson to. Everything perfect!

Barbara went above and beyond! Super helpful and responsive. While the property is pretty in the winter, it would be amazing in bloom. Inside, we had everything we needed for our month stay.

It was great having a place that allowed our dogs. With 2.5 acres fenced in, our critters enjoyed their stay!

Dave and Barb's place is, indeed, conveniently located midway between New Hope and Doylestown. It is a welcoming Stone Farmhouse located on 32 beautiful acres that Dave and Barb have renovated/restored in so many thoughtful ways. Along with it's charm, there was a terrific WiFi connection and easy to use smart TVs upstairs and down. Very convenient parking off the driveway. Our host had high quality coffee available with a truly modern coffee/expresso maker, along with a full, well-stocked kitchen and most condiments available. (btw, it is a 7 minute car ride to Dharma Bums, a cool little restaurant with amazing vegan food)! Dave was warm and welcoming and extremely responsive to any questions and/or requests. We highly recommend this place for any visit to this area!

this was the perfect little cottage to spend a night away for my husband + i + our two dogs for a lambertville/new hope visit. honestly one night wasn’t enough, we’d love to come back for a long weekend with the kids too. being in walking distance to the pedestrian bridge was really cool + the historical inn across the street was really neat! not a far drive at all to lambertville/new hope. the cottage was so cozy, the beds + couch were perfect + the bathroom with the heated floors was really nice. my favorite touch was the awesome bookshelf over the spiral staircase. really unique! we had a lovely visit + we’ll be back. thank you, ed!

Beautiful cottage in a great location right on the canal path. Easy walk to Lambertville and New Hope. Excellent communication from a super friendly host. Highly recommend!

The stay at Silk Purse Cottage was a perfect one. It is a real cottage, well refurbished and equipped with all the things you would need. The little details make you feel right at home. Jan is a great host, easy to contact. The surroundings of the cottage are very beautiful and you feel in the middle of nature. But you’re only minutes away froms shops and restaurants. Would revisit whenever possible!

If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have. The cottage, setting, and staying exceeded the online description and our expectations! The cottage is thoughtfully and beautifully designed and decorated, the setting is serene and Addison went above and beyond to insure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

We had a great experience, the cottage was really nice and very spacious. It was our first stay in Quarryville and it was great. Candy was very nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. I only wish we had booked a longer visit.

We had a great time at Joni’s place. It is cozy and spacious. Kids enjoyed playing in the creek, buggy rides, pony rides. The US largest buffet-Shady Maple Smorgasbord is 10 minutes drive. We all loved it.

Everything is like she said. I recommended to everyone!

Andrea's cottage was the highlight of our weekend getaway. It was beautiful, cozy, and well-curated. The wood burning fireplace was perfect for a relaxing evening at home, and the property was in a great location - close to downtown but also quiet and private. Andrea was a very inviting host. She gave great recommendations for places to check out downtown, and had the kitchen stocked with the assortment of tea/coffee/snacks. We highly recommend!

Place is very nice, well supplied & little extra’s to make you comfortable. High end hotel quality bathroom. Carolynn thoughts of the little things you need while traveling. We will return next year if it’s available.
