Great place with a beautiful view. Inside was clean and had all the amenities. Right on the water and secluded in the forest away from noise! One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed at so far. Lorrene provided clear instructions on how to find the place along with local recommendations which made my stay easier. Will definitely stay here again if I come back next year!

Beautiful town and surroundings - great comfortable place to stay

Amazing place, right next to the ocean. Peaceful environment with great views. The accommodation had everything that we needed and more.

I had a great stay at Morgan's place. The house itself is beautiful and clean. The view from the windows is stunning - it looks right onto the ocean, and if you open the windows, you can smell the salt air. It's a dream. Erin, the property manager was super responsive and extremely accommodating - she offered local sight-seeing recommendations, and kindly lent me her bear spray (which I thankfully, did not need!). I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We knew we were in the right place when shortly after arriving in the pouring rain and wondering if we should stay the full 3 nights we had booked, Heather’s husband Dave knocked on the door with 2 raincoats. We had our own, but the gesture was appreciated. And then, we got the best advice of the trip from him which was to head to SAN Josef Bay for the day. I had read about it but decided it was too difficult to get to. But Dave told us it was one of those places one had to see in one’s lifetime…..and I’m so glad he did and so glad we heeded his advice. It was truly incredible. But back to Heather and Dave’s place…..we didn’t utilize the outdoor space given the early and cool weather, but the space is amazing! And to watch the ferry go by from inside is super cool. You can even see the ocean and the mountains on the other side from the bed! Bonus….for those with snoring husbands….there’s another bedroom with two single bed!! Thanks for the great stay!

Super cute cottage for a couple wanting a nice private getaway. I loved the ducks walking around the property and it was really nice that they also left some eggs for us.

What a great place. Great view, many access points to the water, so much silence! Opportunities to see black bear, eagles and many birds as well as whales. Also, Gord, Muriel and Casey are friendly and kind people. I highly recommend.

Ruth's home was lovely to stay at! It felt very homey and clean. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. All the decor was nice and was interesting to look at. The covered deck with the view of the water was great too. Ruth was responsive to messages and let us rent her kayaks as well as lending us some fishing equipment and giving us some tips on good spots to fish and paddle. We loved our time in Port Alice and staying here was a big part of that.

This was a very nice place in a very remote part of BC. It’s a beautiful, well maintained, well situated apartment with a very friendly, responsive host! Wld def stay again and recommend to friends and family!
