Our stay at Tom's condo at the Hawaiian Princess was a great way to start our Hawaiian vacation. The view was everything that was advertised along with the privilege of viewing local sea life right from the balcony. During our stay, the condo experienced some mechanical issues. Tom was quick to respond and what couldn't be fixed immediately, Tom monetarily compensated us to offset the inconvenience. Previous reviews referenced the homeless encampment in this area of Oahu. Yes , they are there but never felt unsafe at the condo. One family enjoyed the private beach and ate a l9cal restaurant which was recommended by another Hawaiian Princess guest. For those who want to stay out of the hectic zone of Honolulu or Waikiki, the west side of Oahu in Waianea is worth the drive.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The inside of the condo was beautiful, SO clean, and stocked with everything you could need from kitchen appliances to sunscreen to towels and other beach gear. The view from the balcony/lanai was absolutely gorgeous. Overlooking a beach which was pretty private. Watched whales and sea turtles. The only downside of the air bnb was that the location is not in the nicest part of town, however, the building is in a gated area. We never felt unsafe. Although it is a ways from any nice restaurants, this did not bother us one bit because we ate almost every meal on the lanai as it the views were more gorgeous than any restaurant could offer! We would recommend this stay to anyone who is wanting a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful stay!

We couldn't have been happier with our oceanfront cottage for our vacation. Most of our family stayed at a resort in Waikiki and that vibe was way too intense and crowded for us. So happy we found this great location and deal! The construction noise was manageable and was explicitly disclosed. But most of the time it was so quiet and peaceful. The cottage worked out great for our family of 4-- while we originally booked a condo up on the 4th floor being on the ground level ended up being ideal for us with the lanai and easy access to outside. The vibe of the area was so chill and friendly and local island culture. And proximity to north shore was great too. We got good tips from not only the hosts but the security staff onsite. The Kiwi bakery and the Huuala loop trail were favorite stops we discovered on our own. My son and I even were able to catch the first heat of the Eddie!

Beautiful home with ample amenities. The resort had many activities and the host provided beach necessities we couldn’t have brought from home. Cooking and laundry services were great, welcome book and area suggestions were very helpful. A great home base for our busy week all over the island.

VioletRae is a very hospitable host. The home is exactly as described. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Food trucks located directly outside of the gated entries (2). It is located in the center of everything. As an added bonus there are additional beach chairs, snorkels, coolers, surfboards and other beach related stuff for you to borrow. I would highly recommend VioletRae and her place. AAA+++. We already miss Hawaii. But we’ll come back to this AirBnB when we do.

Really nice unit. Very comfortable. Well stocked with cleaning supplies, which we appreciate for an extended stay:) We would absolutely stay here again.

What a beautiful beach and view! We loved our time at Kathleen’s condo. It was very clean, comfortable and peaceful. I haven’t slept as well as I did there in ages. The ocean at this beach is very swim-able and there are lots of turtles to watch as well. We had everything we needed and felt very safe. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a perfect vacation at the condo! Everything we needed to relax and enjoy a private quiet vacation in an absolutely beautiful location. The view is unbelievable! Whales and Turtles so fun to watch! The beach is practically private! The homeless situation on the way there is alarming to see at first but the security at the condo is very good and once in Everything is good. We enjoyed the Country Cafe and Lanterns for good local food. We would recommend this with five stars!!

Before I even arrived, I was in contact with Jimmy. He helped me decide if a car would be needed and even provided parking if I did, but the location was literally one block from Waikiki Beach! You could see even see Diamond Head from the balcony! Such a huge luxury! There was plenty of space to put our belongings for our 8 day stay, and we fully took advantage to make some home cooked meals using the equipment that was provided with the unit, but he unit was also so close to everything that Waikiki had to offer. There were great shops, convenience stores, restaurants, even food trucks in the alley right outside of the parking gate. You could see that Jimmy had a well laid out game plan for his guests, to anticipate what their need might be. For example, he had items such as beach towels, beach umbrellas, a wagon, and even boogie boards that you could take to the beach! I hope to return to Waikiki very soon, and hopefully this unit is available again when we come back!

William's pad was conveniently located and clean. He was extremely accommodating and there were some nice bonuses like snorkeling gear and boogie boards that saved us from spending extra on activities. Waikiki can tend to be overly touristy, so it was quite nice to stay a block or two from the busiest streets. Lots of food and beach options in walking distance. We would definitely stay with William again.

Stayed here with the primary objective of being able to walk to the Convention Center for a conference each morning. It was a 12-15 min walk to the Convention Center through a shaded promenade beside a river, which was perfect for me. The apartment/condo is slightly smaller than what I perceived from the pictures, but met all of our basic needs for 2 people. Air conditioning was a must even in April and this unit had AC and a fan which was great. Appreciated the option to rent a vehicle through this listing. Very tight, but dedicated parking underneath the building which was very convenient. Bathroom was small but met all basic needs. Host provided little extras that are always appreciated including a functional kitchen with paper towels and aluminum foil, ziplock bags, water filter in the fridge, bath and beach towels, sunscreen. There is an ABC convenient store within a 5min walk, which was great for any quick needs. It is a ~20-30min walk to the main shopping/restaurant district.

I literally loved it here so much, I only stayed for one night but definitely no complaints whatsoever. I will be coming back!

My husband, cat, and I needed a peaceful sanctuary during a stressful time in our life. We were moving off Oahu after staying here for four years. We needed a place to stay after moving out of our home while we coordinated shipping everything off island. This is a great location and the guides that Gidget provides are informative. It was such a beautiful place with very thoughtful decorative touches. The printer was very helpful for us, as I was working remotely. If we couldn’t find nearby street parking we would pay for King Kalakaua plaza which is now run by the hotel adjacent to it and is valet parking only, which had excellent service. Gidget was very responsive to my questions before booking and throughout our stay. We’ll remember this stay fondly, and I’d definitely recommend this place.

The building (interior and exterior) are a little dated, and could use a refresh. BUT the location is amazing and the view is stunning. We arrived on a there was an annual parade - we had no idea, but there was so much traffic and road closures making it a little hectic getting to the building - but I managed to run out to speak with one of the attendants, and he came and helped us through the traffic to park. From then on, it everything was a breeze. Check in was easy, car valet, they brought up all of our luggage. We got to see the fireworks that evening that was part of the parade celebration from our balcony. The private walkway to the beach was amazing from the hotel and we felt comfortable letting our kids go back and forth on their own. Eating breakfast on the balcony with the amazing views was one of our favourite things. The location is amazing to be able to just walk to the beach in a minute or two, and anything you need is walkable.

We were first time visitors to Hawaii. I enjoyed this location as it was a little bit on the end of the really crazy busy area of Waikiki strip, especially if you’re driving a rental car! Back lane is busy and parkade down below is small as they do say use caution. I enjoyed the extras such as the laundry detergent, coffee and and tea. My only complaint is the table on the patio is a little high which was not the most comfortable for sitting outside/ getting up and down (vertically challenged). We did go on rooftop patio which was quite nice. Thank you!

Space is extremely clean. Unit is quiet and spacious. Scott was responsive and flexible with check in and checkout times. The unit has everything needed to enjoy the beach and tennis courts. Kitchen had everything we needed. Instructions and recommendations provided by Scott allowed us to maximize our time on the North Shore. Accessibility to Turtle Bay resort and surrounding beaches is very easy from this location. Everything was easy. We hope to be back :) Mahalo Scott!

So much room! Place is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. We loved the location, quick walk to the beach, tons of restaurants nearby. And we liked being towards the end of Waikiki. Having parking for easy in/out was a huge plus. Barbara was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again.

We spent eight days at Thu’s apartment before Christmas and loved every minute. The apartment was exactly as described—spotless, well-equipped, and with a beautiful lanai offering ocean views. The washer and dryer were a big plus for our stay. The location is amazing, with a peaceful lagoon perfect for swimming, gorgeous beaches, and a park-like garden around the towers. We also enjoyed the large pools, hot tub, and gym. It’s close to great restaurants, shopping, and luaus, and parking was included, making it easy to get around. Check-in was smooth, even though we arrived a day late due to a missed flight. The front desk staff were helpful, and Thu was incredibly friendly and responsive. This was the perfect place to relax, and we’d gladly return if it weren’t so far from Europe! Highly recommended.

It was a stunning view of Waikiki Beach, and we were just steps away from taking a surfing lesson. The room was spacious, and the building staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Although it was a bit expensive for us, it was worth every penny to stay in this amazing place.

Great location; coffee shop in building which was open early. Food trucks across the street. Walkable to great restaurants. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and provided the best views of Waikiki. Would highly recommend.

This unit was perfect for our needs! The location alone makes this place five stars. It’s right off the main strip of Waikiki beach so a quick walk to the beach and restaurants and shops. The space in the unit was equally as convenient for our family. The den with a sliding door off the primary bedroom was perfect for our infant away from everything else with still enough room for another person. The building was very safe and secure, requiring a fob to enter any part of the building and to any of the floors. The attached free parking garage was a great amenity, however, it is TIGHT to maneuver. We had a van and it was a challenge as the garage is not large, so if you have a larger vehicle just be prepared for a squeeze and some careful turning. The check in instructions were very clear and made check in a breeze, and check out procedures were the easiest of any place I’ve stayed. We would’ve loved to stay longer, & should we return to the area I would absolutely rebook this property!

Had a wonderful stay with my family! Host was flexible (allowed us early check-in to accommodate my party that consisted of an infant and my elderly parents) and responsive. Location was very convenient and allowed us to explore and walk around Waikiki without having to drive and deal with parking. Plenty of beach equipment for guests to use and enjoy. Had a great time here making memories with my family - great location, responsiveness, and value, definitely would recommend to others!
