The Nest is our lakeside cottage in the ❤️ of Maine’s recreational playground. You are steps from a crystal clear spring fed lake; we are also situated on ATV and snowmobile trails. Enjoy the calls of the loons & waves lapping at the shore; take in the incredible sunsets over the lake & unwind in front of the fire. Our cottage is part of Gurnet Village, an over 100-year-old working lobstering & oyster farming property on historic Route 24, between Brunswick & Harpswell. Expect boats, workers, road traffic, gear, and the occasional sounds & smells of a real Maine working waterfront. All rooms have ocean views, with access to the tidal beach & floating dock (May-Dec).

Located on an acre and a half of wooded grounds, and surrounded by forest, the cottage feels secluded, but it’s only a mile to the restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions of bustling Boothbay Harbor. With hiking trails in the Pine Tree Preserve that adjoins the property and the Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve a five minute walk up the road, you can also explore nature and enjoy the solitude of the woods.
