Jimmy and his family are amazing hosts, super friendly, and responsive! The hotel is centrally located on Main St. and it was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. The room we stayed in was cozy and enough to accommodate a 2 night stay as we explored the town. Their cafe on the main level has tasty food as well. Book your stay at Cold Spring Hotel!

Just got back from a wonderful one night stay with Jimmy. We were greeted warmly, with humor and great local recommendations. The hotel is a convenient 10-15 minute walk from the Cold Spring Metro North stop. The room was exactly as pictured: quaint, clean, and cozy. We were offered discounts on breakfast and additional nights stays, which was a great touch. Jimmy was kind enough to hold our luggage and let us use his cafe's restroom after we checked out and explored Cold Spring for the day. If I come back to explore the multitude of hiking trails in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Jimmy again. Second time staying here, and would stay again. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Hosts helpful and responsive. We were able to get a last minute early check-in, which was great. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. We like that it is budget friendly (for the area) and clean, and family owned!

Perfect spot for 4 friends on a weekend trip to NYC

Cold Spring Hotel and Jimmy the host are the best. Walkable from the train, pet friendly, plus the front desk is a cafe! This is a no-brainer when visiting Cold Spring. We’ll definitely book again.

Amazing amazing amazing! I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, spacious, clean, comfortable, the balcony was a plus and the restaurant near the main lobby had a great bartender; that made our drinks extra good! Also, parking was fairly easy to find and the hotel location was perfectly located close to Manhattan! I would recommend just double checking and confirming the room type you are booking, since there are many different options and room styles! I would stay here over & over again 🌸!

The room was giant, the bed was comfy and everyone was very helpful!

I almost wish i hadn't seen the photos - the Flophouse is unique, quirky and beautiful. René was very thorough and responsive and his friend who looked after the place in his absence was lovely. While the resort was outstanding when it comes to the spa treatments everything was very confusing from the treatments itself, to the staff to them not being organized at all. I’m not sure the treatment was performed by a professional certified masseuse. In fact it was a male for both my wife and I. We were never asked to sign a waiver or fill out any kind of paperwork unlike all other spas we’ve been to. I have been with terrible sciatica pain since Sunday July 7, almost a week now. I believe the male therapist worked my back in a way that he shouldn’t have and pinched a nerve. I am unable to walk, get in and out of car and have been seeing a chiropractor since Monday July 8.

I highly recommend this place. Great stay.

Arlo is most definitely one of my top 5 favorite hotels! I really love the rustic look the hotel has and the scent all around the location! this is definitely a great place to stay not far from anything you need to reach. It's not my first time staying at this location nor will it be the last time.

I wanted to stay close to time square but had to deal with the bus and the train two ways . If you need something close to time square and want to adventure is ok but since I’m not use to the public transportation and I’m from the suburbs the location wasn’t good for my family . But the hotel is great if you have kids they can enjoy the pool and if you’re not planing to go out you can go to eat American food and enjoy the inside gym . I don’t recommend drive to time square since there is hard to find parking . Also look for the towns close to New York there are 15 one of them is union city west New York . Be safe

Chef Step was a great host! He was incredibly accommodating and super kind. I ended up getting food poisoning and he made me tea and got me some medicine which was very much appreciated. The first morning that we were there, he even cooked for us - chicken and waffles 10/10. I would 1000% stay with Chef Step next time I am in NYC.

This is a cute old-school inn that operates like a hotel. Phil seems to run the place single-handedly but does a good job and is friendly and helpful. Note that it's an old building so there are some creaky floors and you can hear people in the hallways as well as the occasional passing car outside. But it was comfortable, cute, and a great place to crash after a concert at Bethel Woods.

I can honestly say it was way better than expected. Host reached out to me before I even realized I might miss the check in window and took care of me and my family. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place — it had everything we needed, and it was easy enough to get to other areas of Brooklyn, by train or citibike. She was very responsive and we appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out due to our travel schedule. The bedroom faces the street so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper, but we were fine for the most part. And, of course, Sana the cat was so friendly and certainly added to the stay!
