Maghreb: soggiorni in mulini

Such wonderful hosts! Offered to pick us up from the ferry at 1am, to a the beautiful romantic windmill. Gave us a quick and comprehensive tour of the windmill and the surrounding area with suggestions for places to visit nearby and beaches to go to with the current and upcoming weather. This windmill has spectacular views, is close to many amazing restaurants and cute shops! Absolutely Perfect experience! Thank you!

Super friendly welcome, great garden and pool area. We stayed at the windmill, which has a unique atmosphere, but not much space for luggage. There is a little annexe with a table, perfect for a candle light dinner.

Can not recommend highly enough. So unique, special, iconic, up high, great views, well restored, freshly painted, so much attention to detail. They picked me up from near the port themselves, carried my heavy bag to the windmill, communicated immediately, were flexible and so very kind and proactive and doing anything to help anticipate our needs to make our stay better. That included sitting down and reviewing maps with me and showing me what I should see before I go, how to get there, a mini fridge full of a variety of fresh fruit, cheese, drinks, plus breads and jams, how to use the air, wifi, electricity. They came to get me and take me back to town on check out. Ano Syros is not to be missed. It's a very unique medieval town with a fascinating history. Take a tour while there and you'll learn so much (that's actually how I learned about the windmill was on a tour). Yes it's worth coming up here to spend some time to explore while in Syros. Space is best for a couple.

A very nicely arranged apartment. I have spent a week there and I can say it’s very comfortable. I’d really enjoyed sliding from the bedroom to the kitchen! :) It’s also a good location, close to surfing in Famara and hiking in Timanfaya. The place is very close to the main road and you’d share the patio with other guests. Carlos is a very helpful and communicative host. I was happy to be there.

Irene and Simon are a very nice couple and perfect hosts. They renovated an ancient windmill from their family with good taste and love for every detail. They are very responsive and helpful. The location was squeeky clean, and the surrounding and view is extraordinary. Visiting Sifnos, be prepared to climb a lot of stairs, always and everywhere. And also be prepared to find pittoresque villages, quiet nature and good food. We recommend a vacation at the Mylolithos House very much.

Great place!! When all ferries were cancelled due to strong winds, we needed a place to stay asap as our other hotel had no more availability. Giorgos was extremely responsive and helpful in putting us at ease of his availability and flexible check in times. Although the winds caused us to miss our trip to Naxos- this windmill stay although last minute and not expected- was extremely cute and enjoyable and now is a potential candidate for our future trips as we would definitely stay here again! Bad weather and cancelation led us to find and experience this great place!!!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, Obst, toller Käse und Wein standen bereit. Die Unterkunft ist lichtdurchflutet, es gibt drei Balkone (einer davon ist eine großzügige Dachterrasse mit schöner Aussicht aufs Meer!) für alle Wetterlagen. Die Ausstattung ist absolut komfortabel, alle 2 Tage wird sehr sauber geputzt und frische Handtücher werden bereitgestellt. Das ist Erholung pur. Eine absolute Empfehlung! Ganz herzlichen Dank für die großartige Gastfreundschaft und die liebe Herzlichkeit!!

A very charming windmill, nicely renovated with a bathroom, small kitchen and a cozy bedroom. Nice view of the village and the sea in the background. Very close to the center with all the nightlife and restaurants. Also a few steps from a bus stop. Outside the windmill there was a very nicely shaded and ventilated terrace with a table where you can enjoy your coffee. The host was very friendly and chatty, he offered us some local treats which were so tasty! Overall a very nice experience!
