The Sawmill

Built in 1867, it is the second oldest house in Pleasant Bay and has been many different things to the community throughout the years, including: a post office, a general store, one of the first school teachers and of course, a sawmill. A winding trail from the house leads you directly to Red River Beach, a community beach with ocean and river access.
