Quaint loft in old theatre colony on Lake Wesserunsett. "Pa's Hangar" in memory of my dad who designed and helped build our little place. It is a studio apartment complete with handicapped shower , Cook top, microwave , roasted coffee beans (fresh from our own roaster) Verismo machine, french press AND espresso machine! 3 ways to enjoy your coffee by the lake! Our home has lake frontage and the apartment is only a one minute walk to the lake for fishing, kayaking, or just listen to the loons!

Nestled in the historic Lakewood Community sits our waterfront home. Walk out of your bedroom door onto a custom deck overlooking Lake Wesserunsett. Enjoy sunsets and tranquil sunrises under the pavilion. Plan your day around fishing, swimming, boating and all the adventures Maine has to offer. Use of the lake is at your own risk and liability. By booking you and all of your quests hold harmless the host and resident of the lake. There is no life guard on duty.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
