We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. This little cabin is the perfect place for a quite get away . A country setting where you can enjoy walking trails and a spring fed creek perfect for wading and swimming. At night sit by the fire pit and enjoy the country atmosphere with an abundance of wildlife. The cabin sits on 68 acres you can explore and has 2 bedrooms /1 bath sleeps up to 5. Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville .

Welcome to your (earthen) home away from home! This earthen home was constructed by Mr. Bill Adams, a direct descendent of Pres. John Adams and a veteran who served in the Allied occupation of Japan following WWII. Going further back, this was one of the first areas to be settled. It was part of the "Sims Settlement" and was defended during the War of 1812 by James and William Slaughter. Settlers farmed the fertile land near Indian Creek, now called the Indian Creek Greenway - 4 mins away.

Under 10 minutes to BridgeStreet, Research Park, Town Madison (Trash Pandas), Space&Rocket Center, Mid City (Orion Amphitheater), HSV Airport and more. 2 beds, 2 baths and a couch offer space for up to 4 guests. Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.
