We were looking for a peaceful stay and we definitely found it. Super cozy and clean, accommodating and easy to find. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and beautiful underneath the stars at night. The rooms were spacious and the loft was so much better than the picture suggested. Will visit again for sure!

Couldn’t have chosen a better cabin for our family Christmas celebration. Perfect for large families, or two separate families. Tiffany was an amazingly responsive host, the cabin was pristine.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The peaceful surroundings, thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. We truly didn’t want to leave! Every detail from the sparkling clean interior to the stunning views reflected the love and care that was put into this place. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for, and then some. We made so many wonderful memories and captured some gorgeous photos that we’ll treasure forever.

Such a wonderful cabin that made our family feel right at home. Loved the view and the peacefulness! If someone is not experienced driving on a curvy gravel and at times steep road it may cause some concern but our family had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!

The Round House hosted by Danielle and Chris felt like a real home. It had spacious bedrooms and a living room with plenty of comfortable seating. It was beautiful inside and out with blooming cherry trees, dogwoods, and redbuds in view. We all enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere. The house was well-kept and clean, no maintenance issues. There were multiple spots with great views of the mountains, especially the deck just off the living room. The beds were comfy, with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The studio downstairs had a firm king-sized bed. The hot tub and firepit outside were a perfect ending to the daylight hours, relaxing and making s’mores. In my daughter’s words, “Everything was perfect!”

The location is incredible! Stunning views from high up on a mountain. The cabin is the nicest mountain cabin I’ve ever rented. It had all the comforts and felt a little luxurious and new. Very nice kitchen with all the supplies we needed for 2 days of cooking in. The whole place was extremely clean with nice furniture and decor. We will come back next time we need a mountain cabin.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The host was super responsive and provided clear instructions. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed being close to the WCU campus. Great place for a large group or family. Would absolutely stay here again!

Very impressed for our first Airbnb experience! Beautiful place, exactly as described, the mountains roads to the cabin are a fun adventure and hot tub under the stars is unbeatable! Definitely won’t want to leave once you get there! Communication 10/10 hosts are friendly and responsive!

This would be my second staying here.. The view is still awesome. Went for a walk and the wife freak out when me and the son (12) was not back by dark....(great for the day hikers). They helped calm the wife down... enough of that... anyways the area is great the view from the cabin is the best, and and his wife will stay clear and leave you to yourself but will be there is you should them....great...stay

Wonderful visit to this beautiful location right in Cullowhee. We were visiting our daughter at Western Carolina U. We had our dogs with us and it worked our perfectly.

Peaceful cabin! Everything was perfect. Easy to find. Great location for people visiting their kids at WCU. Would definitely stay here again. Felt right at home, so did our dog. The beds were so comfortable, they slept great. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent stay in Highlands, North Carolina. Place is super convenient to hiking, stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at the Caretaker Cabin. The Harry Potter themed accents were incredible. Shannon was a wonderful host. She was proactive, responsive, helpful, accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. My kids enjoyed meeting and feeding the animals. Lots to see and do in the nearby areas including hiking and horseback riding among others.

Carolyn was as wonderful as her cabin & our time there! Check in/out was easy, directions were straightforward, responsiveness was almost immediate, and the cabin/surrounding woods/location was just a dream and everything we hoped for - complete with a fully stocked kitchen, firewood and kindling, hiking trails accessible straight from the property, extremely comfortable beds, a clean spacious bathroom, local art for sale on the walls, cozy details everywhere, a charming loft with movies, and more. I would 10/10 recommend taking the opportunity to stay here - and want to thank Carolyn and everyone else involved that helped make our mountain weekend getaway just perfect!

The cabin was a perfect weeklong getaway . It has a great layout, including the wrap around deck and the back patio. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for all our cooking. The cabin is suitably located for either a small town exploration or a hiking adventure. Each night was perfectly capped with a drink by the fireplace and songs from the record player. Perfection! We already look forward to returning.

Exactly what I was looking for, seclude and with a lot of nature around it, but close to a lot of recreation. Great place for relax.

Mary Anne was an extremely responsive and proactive host. She gave us great recommendations on hikes along with instructions on road closures. This location is amazing, cute towns within 10 mins, an hour to Asheville, so many hikes and things to do. The host thought of everything, she had so many little things that are annoying to buy for just a few days stay. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and Mary Anne by far is the best host ever. The cabin is a great value for the location for what you get. Beautiful Mountains views and very peaceful neighborhood. We will be back sooner than later!

The pictures for this place do not do it justice. I booked this as a gift for my mom as a little mother daughter get away and it was nothing short of magical for the both of us. We immediately felt like kids again when we walked through the door and the surprises just kept coming. Our faces hurt from how much we were smiling at every little detail. Our hosts truly thought of everything! Not to mention the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever felt. The hosts were so personable and accommodating. We felt like royalty! We can’t wait to come back and bring our friends!! We want to share this place with everyone we know!

We had such a great time here! My family went for a long weekend to reset and recharge and this place was perfect. The Cashiers area is beautiful and the house is set back in a private neighborhood that was so peaceful. The house was very clean and well cared for. Kristina was responsive and very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

This place was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, private, and secluded. After a day of hiking and exploring Bryson City, we decided to stock up on food and stay in for the rest of our 4-day trip. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, and I loved cooking while enjoying the stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. The fireplace and hot tub were both fantastic. The bed on the first floor was comfortable, though after a couple of nights, I developed a backache – it may have been a bit too soft for my liking. My son, however, was very happy with his bed on the second floor. One downside, which had nothing to do with the property itself, was the presence of dead trees, likely due to the timing of our visit. While the sunrises were beautiful, they didn’t quite live up to the pictures. Another small disappointment was the lack of hiking trails right within walking distance of the home. At least my dogs loved the daily hikes up and down the paved road.

Quiet, clean, feels like home, creek is so peaceful, all the spices and kitchen things needed, comfortable beds, plenty of space for games and dinners. Larry went above and beyond!

Our stay was amazing and we were sad to leave, it was exactly what we have always wanted in a cabin get away extremely private and super peaceful. The photos do not do the views justice if you were thinking that looks like a good view it is an amazing view in person. Whether you are on the front porch looking out or take a walk around to the side, hot tub or even the swing the views are just breathtaking. The whole cabin has been well maintained and super clean. Durning our stay we planned on going into town to eat but once we got to the cabin we decided to go into town to get more food to make at the cabin and enjoy every minute we had there. We can not wait till our next fall vacation to book this cabin again.
