It is perfect for families and is dog friendly. The centre of Lynton is a 5 minute walk and it is only 10 minutes to the spectacular Valley of the rocks. Lynton itself is on the edge of Exmoor and the South West Coast path so it is ideal for walks

This is the original Barbrook schoolroom built by the Methodists in 1870 - a large airy groundfloor space with tall windows looking out across the valley. It is now a romantic hideaway for two - an elegant but comfortable open-plan apartment featuring log stove, large bed, and window seats, plus underfloor heating, modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and smart TV. It's an ideal base from which to explore all the pleasures of Exmoor by the sea, and your hosts are just next door if needed.

There are numerous places to enjoy a drink or maybe some food within a few minutes walk ...Charley Fridays cafe is across the road and The Crown Hotel around the corner . Other cafes and restaurants plus a variety of shops including a grocery store ,are within easy reach... Also within 5 - 10 minutes walk is Lynton's uniquelovely little cinema and also the unique funicular ....both highly recommended!!!!
