Minutes from the coast, with direct access to miles of walks and cycle routes on to the New Forest, Mallards is a charming one bedroom detached cob cottage set in the large garden of our family home. An ideal place to unwind and relax, it is set away from from the rest of the property so guests can enjoy their privacy, but we are hear to help if needed. Clean and very comfortable the cottage is full of charm and has a private patio area with views over the garden and open countryside beyond.

If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

Bentley Cottage is light and airy and is furnished to a high standard throughout. It has a spacious lounge/dining room/kitchen including a wood burner with logs supplied. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite). It is a short walk to the local shops, pubs, restaurants and railway station. Ponies, donkeys and cattle often come by the gate. A stone's throw from the picturesque market town of Lymington, Red Cottage is only 5 minutes from Brockenhurst train station and sandy beaches at Mudeford. Nearby restaurants and spas include The Pig, Limewood House, Carey's Manor and the Chewton Glen all within 5 - 10 mins. Two ancient forest gastro pubs are a 5 min walk from the cottage, near the beautiful Roydon Woods.

Bramblings, New Forest cottage by the green

Bramblings is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.

The Cottage by The Quay

Our cottage is steps away from the quayside in the old harbour. It is quiet in the walled garden, but all around are shops, cafés and restaurants. The high street is two minutes walk away but ten minutes' walk takes you past the seawater baths and out on the salt marshes to the sea. You can hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight in 15 minutes. Lymington is a grand town and our cottage is beautifully placed for exploring it!
