Surrounded by woodland with hilltop views across the Wye Valley to Offa’s dyke, this eco friendly traditional Monmouthshire cottage is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at its very best. Spend time in the garden listening to bird song and the gentle babbling of the stream or step out the gate to explore Cleddon Falls and beautiful view points along the Wye Valley walk. The medieval village of Trellech and Tintern Abbey are also within easy reach off or on road by foot, bike or car.

Rose Cottage, dog friendly, countryside location

Rose Cottage forms part of the old stable block of the Clanna Country Estate dating back to the 1850's and as such, they combine rustic character with modern comfort. The cottage is both family and doggy friendly. The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty and history of the area while offering a warm and welcoming place to return to after a day of adventure. Guests have shared access to our onsite games room, which includes Pool, darts, ping pong and so much more.

Beautiful Cider House Village Getaway Sleeps 4

The Cider House is a spacious and comfortable home opposite the Village Green in Cromhall, near to Wotton-under-Edge on the southern fringe of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire. The village is conveniently located for the M5, with J14 approx. 10 mins by car, and the A38 a similar distance. Easy access to local market towns of Thornbury and Wotton-under-Edge, as well as to Bristol and Bath. The barn is next door to our home but entirely self-contained and private with parking for two cars.

The Old Cider Mill

The Old Cider Mill is a beautifully converted old cider barn set in the wonderfully peaceful monmouthshire countryside. The cottage is a fabulous romantic and tranquil retreat set in one acre of meadow and adjoining spinney. Perfectly situated to explore all the wye valley, and nearby forest of dean, has to offer. This cosy cottage sleeps two guests and has an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. Outside is lovely gravelled courtyard with furniture and off road parking.

Forest of Dean, The Old Chapel

In the Forest of Dean, the Old Chapel is situated next to woodland with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The chapel has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features, character and charm. An abundance of pine cladding on walls and ceilings give a wonderful feeling of warmth and relaxation. The floors are original pine. Candles in the evening and a beast of a woodburner makes this an incredibly relaxing place to be. Something a little bit different.

Magical cottage set within a woodland glade

Badgers Bothy is set within a woodland glade in the grounds of the 16th century Amberley Farmhouse and provides the most unique and charming country escape. Our idyllic cottage is set on the edge of Minchinhampton Common (located in an AONB) and with miles of footpaths which are perfect for those wishing to explore the Cotswolds. This beautiful cottage exudes an aura of peace and tranquillity and a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life.

Wordsmith's Cottage

Boasting old floorboards, original beams and quirky features, this historical semi-detached cottage allows guests to switch off from the outside world. The location benefits from easy access to countryside walks but it's also just a few minutes walk from charming shops, cafés and country pubs. Our first guests used the space as an escape to write their scripts and novels and we encourage all guests to relish in the romance of village living and explore their creativity.

Self-catering cottage in a small quiet Wye Valley village in in the hills above Monmouth. Set in 6 acres of woodland and hidden gardens. Large bedroom with comfortable king (60") & single bed, lounge with log burner, TV & WiFi. Stunning large spa room with sauna, shower, jacuzzi & small toilet room. Kitchen with induction hob, grill and fan oven, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer, separate bathroom with toilet.

Old Tump House, Forest of Dean

Sleeps 6 in 3 ensuite bedrooms. Lovingly renovated C18th cottage overlooking the Forest of Dean. The cottage has a cosy open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with a log burner. The dining area seats six and the sofa seats four with two bean bags. If you need a large lounging space with a six-seater sofa then the property probably won't suit your needs - please look at the photos to make sure you're happy with the seating arrangement.

Featuring a log burner and views of the nearby countryside, The Hayloft is the perfect setting for a break in the picturesque Forest of Dean. With easy access to local walks from the front door and access by car to Cheltenham (40 mins), Bristol (40 mins) and Bath (60 mins).
