Welcome to Stu's corner me 'ansomes, the perfect smugglers hideaway not far from the A30, Bodmin moor and the infamous Jamaica Inn - the home of Dick Penworthy the famous highwayman and his cat the Beast of Bodmin - some say his distant relatives still drink in the bar, and keep your eyes peeled fer 'is cat because 'ees huuge - a true beast, I know cos I seen im! Anyway me beauties back to Luxulyan, tis a beautiful little village nestled right 'ere in the centre of Kernow amongst the granite boulders. You will find all sorts; miners, smugglers, wreckers and of course the Luxulyan valley featured on TV, and some say, did have the deepest copper mine in all Kernow owned by Mr Treffry 'imself. While you're 'ere why not take a train ride to Newquay, my beauties as we 'ave our own station, stick yer hand out mind to make 'im stop. Visit some of our local ports like Polperro - a little smugglers port steeped in local history with its own museum. Fowey of course with all its fine eateries, frequent tall ships visiting and don't forget regatta week. There's Polkerris beach too with its inn on the sand, and then there's Charlestown me 'ansomes, often seen in the Poldark series re named as Truro quay. To top it all only a short hike or 10 minutes on your 'oss is the iconic World famous Eden Project home of the Domes and the acclaimed Eden music sessions and they'm bleddy loud cos we can 'ear em from 'ere. Luxulyan is also world known for 'Luxullianite' a very special rock cos tis pink and was used to make the Duke of Wellingtons coffin, so they say, and shipped out of Par, can't say for sure though cos I wasn't there. While you're stayin' 'ere we have a local pub serving good food, we have a well stocked shop and post office and not forgetting the pretty little church. There's plenty of parking for your 'oss and cart right next to mine and tis a beauty cos I bought it off Cap'n Poldark 'imself. So that's it me 'amsomes, look forward to seeing you all 'ere. Walk to beach, near Eden Project and Fowey

Nestled in a pretty, friendly village 3 miles from Fowey is our well equipped and homely Cornish miners cottage dating from 1860, under a mile from the beach and just a 10 minute drive to The Eden Project. Pebble Cottage is located on a quiet no-through lane (The Saints Way) which leads to open countryside one way and towards the beach and coastal path the other. There is central heating, a private parking space and fully enclosed, flat, sunny courtyard garden (no steps!) with seating and BBQ.

Beautiful Dartmoor house, idyllic moorland setting

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

Rural Barn Conversion, Boconnoc, Lostwithiel

Set on the edge of Boconnoc Estate and the outskirts of Lostwithiel you will find our large 1 bedroom converted barn. We are quite centrally located in Cornwall. South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. You will find so many things to do including walking, sightseeing, fishing, visiting many types of attractions. We offer a warm welcome and as much or as little interaction as you prefer. You will find yourself surrounded by nature.

Brecombe Barn is within a short driving distance of both north and south coasts and main tourist attractions inc The Lost Gardens of Heligan,The Eden Project and Charlestown. Brecombe Barn is based close to owners property has its own private access, private parking and garden, is not overlooked and has views of surrounding fields.

We are handily located for the stunning beaches of St Austell Bay and a 30 minute drive from Newquay's surf beaches. The harbour village of Charlestown is three miles away and we are within easy reach of the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The Studio is a beautifully furnished, light and airy space in the grounds of our home. With far reaching stunning views of the countryside. It is approximately 2 miles from St Austell and convenient for beaches, Eden project, Heligan Gardens, Charlestown and lovely country walks. Due to Covid 19 I have put in an extra precautionary cleaning regime for your safety including the use of UV Disinfectant lamp which will be used between each guests visit.

Situated less than 10 minutes drive from the famous Eden Project and within easy reach of the beautiful harbour towns of Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey. Walkers can enjoy the beautiful coastal paths with many pubs and restaurants along the way. Bus routes and Par Railway Station are within a mile.
