Supermysig stuga med härlig utsikt över Värnen. Stugan var välutrustad med allt som du kan tänkas behöva. Vi kände oss välkomna med bäddade sängar när vi kom. Tyvärr hade vi lite otur med ihållande regn när vi var där men det gjorde inget då det fanns Sällskapsspel som vi kunde roa oss med. Omgivning utanför bjöd på mysiga promenader med vår hund. Vi kan varmt rekommendera denna stuga både i vått och torrt väder! Ni kommer inte bli besvikna!

A swedish summer- and winterparadise

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad met ons gezin en grootouders. De kinderen genoten van het buitenspelen op de trampoline, bootje varen, vissen en zelfs even suppen in de zon. Voor de volwassenen genoeg zitplekken in en om het huis om uit de wind en in de zon van de stilte, de vogels en de mooie omgeving te genieten. Mooie wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt en de sauna was fijn met handige douches direct aangrenzend. Wel handig om te weten dat de tweede badkamer niet in het hoofdhuis aanwezig is. Voor ons was dit geen probleem. Stefan was op afstand snel en heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk in het contact. Onze vakantie begon koud, maar binnen was het zeer behaaglijk met de speksteen houtkachel waar genoeg hout voor beschikbaar was. Op het meer kan je leuk vissen met de boot met anker, handig om te weten dat het vissen tot maximaal 60 meter vanaf de kant vrij mogelijk is. Wij hebben genoten.

Sunset you don't want to miss

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Fantastisk sted! Virkelig personligt, romantisk og gennemtænkte detaljer. Vi følte os straks hjemme og ønsker at vi havde taget en overnatning mere her. Meget venlige og imødekommende værter. Vender meget gerne tilbage 👍🤗

Vi är supernöjda med boendet. Vi stannade i två nätter när vår son spelade Luxcup i arenan som låg på gångavstånd från boendet. Rent och snyggt med allt vi behövde. Enkelt att hitta och att checka in. Bra information från värden och trevligt bemötande. Tusen tack!

Mysigt och bra boende mitt i stan. Allt man behöver finns i boendet som motsvarar beskrivningen i annonsen. Extra positivt med flexibel incheckning och snabba svar från värd. Rekommenderar fler att bo här som besöker Kristinehamn.

Beautiful 4 bedroom cabin on lakeside estate

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft! Es ist zwar eine Kellerwohnung, aber es sind viele Fenster da, im Wohnbereich hohe Fenster, somit ist es keineswegs dunkel. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und toll/ schick eingerichtet. Es ist alles da und wir fühlten und sehr wohl. Die Hosts sind super erreichbar und mega freundlich. Whirlpool und Grill sind absolut klasse!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub im Haus von Linnea. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die Lage ist toll, direkt am See, sehr ruhig, man ist wirklich abgeschottet und hat seine Ruhe. Wir waren viel mit den zwei kleinen Booten auf dem See unterwegs und haben die Sonne im Garten genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We loved our time at this place. The view of the lake was stunning, and the place was clean and cozy. The jacuzzi was a perfect way to relax. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Peggy and Pär were truly wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to help me settle in, offering great local recommendations and assisting with plans to make my stay memorable. They were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. Their property has so much to enjoy—kayaks, a bbq grill, and a shared sauna were all available and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself was just as described in the photos: clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is also very convenient—just 2.5 km from the nearest train station, one stop from the charming town of Alingsås, and about 30 minutes by train or car from Gothenburg. Highly recommended! I would absolutely love to come back.

Jättenöjda med vår vistelse i Isabelles stuga. Väldigt lätt att kommunicera med värden, mysig stuga med allt man behöver i lugnt och trevligt stugområde :)

Villa i sjönära skog

Een heerlijk ruim huis voorzien van alles wat men nodig heeft. Heel privé met een prachtig uitzicht. We hebben heel wat herten zien lopen vanuit de woning en naast de oprit er naartoe zelfs een eland tot grote vreugde van onze kinderen. Er is een riante kano ter beschikking gesteld. Daarnaast ook een leuke motorboot waar wij als gezin van 5 prima in pasten. De kinderen hebben genoten van de vele tochtjes die we hebben gemaakt. Vanaf een van de eilandjes namen we een duik in het prachtige meer. Dit was onze eerste vakantie richting Zweden. We hebben 3 accommodaties bezocht waarvan dit huis de laatste was. Zweden is een heerlijk vakantieland om tot rust te komen, te genieten van al het moois wat de natuur te brengen heeft. Wij zijn na deze 3 weken zo verzot op het land geraakt dat we vastbesloten komende zomer weer zullen gaan om zodoende het land nog beter te leren kennen.

Unser Aufenthalt in Åsarp war einfach unvergesslich und das verdanken wir vor allem unseren wunderbaren Gastgebern Sandra und Helge. Für acht Nächte durften wir in einem liebevoll eingerichteten Zuhause mitten in der Natur wohnen, das keine Wünsche offenließ. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber und mit spürbarer Herzlichkeit gestaltet. Was diesen Ort besonders macht, ist die ehrliche Gastfreundschaft und natürlich Cindy, die zauberhafte Hündin, die unser Herz im Sturm erobert hat. Sandra und Helge waren jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm zurückhaltend, einfach perfekt. Man spürt, wenn Gastgeber mit dem Herzen dabei sind und genau das war hier der Fall. Wir sind dankbar für diese Auszeit voller Ruhe, Natur und Herzenswärme. Tack så mycket – wir hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen!
