Historic Limestone Cabin with Loft in the Country

My place is a historic limestone building with a loft, located on my family farm. One mile away from the interstate and 6 miles north of Ellsworth, you’ll love its convenience as much as its coziness, history, and quaint charm. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

Prairie View Lodge

Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy time in this rustic space. Close to Wilson Lake, Kanopolis Lake, Salina, and lots of wind farms, you couldn't ask for a better location! The home is set in a beautiful rural area with a tree-surrounded pond, windmill, barn, and loads of outdoor space. Inside you will find a cozy living room with a built-in fireplace and large Cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen, two dining room sets, and spacious bedrooms with enough room to comfortably sleep ten.

The Ranch House

Country living in rural Mitchell county Kansas. Newly remodeled 3 bedroom house ready for you and your guests. Quiet and relaxing place to stay for a family trip or hunting or fishing weekend with your friends. Beautiful wildlife and Kansas scenery to be enjoyed on the front porch with flower beds of fresh herbs or on the back patio to eat supper with a game of horseshoes. Excellent location to stay to enjoy walk-in hunting and fishing. Relax with your family and friends at the ranch house.

Kanopolis Lakehouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakehouse. You can often see deer, turkey, and a variety of birds in the area. Relax in the hammock, on the porch swing, or dine outside on the patio. Conveniently located at Kanopolis Reservoir, there are plenty of areas to swim, fish, hike or explore nearby. There are 3 bedrooms, one king-size bed, one full size bed and a futon, and one twin day-bed with a pull out trundle that turns it into a king-size. The couch also has a pull out bed.

Cozy Cottage at Kanopolis Lake

If you enjoy just getting away, or just want some time at the lake, you will love it here. It has all of the modern necessities that one would need. There is a nice little trail that leads down to the water. There is plenty of room for a boat or other toys to be parked on the property. It is a short drive to Lindsborg or Marquette. Salina and Ellsworth are about 35-40 minutes away. It does sleep four and we ask that if you want to setup a tent no more than 6 without prior permission.

Here I am repurposing an abandoned Missile Base into an Adventure Resort. Learn about the first rockets that brought us to the Space-Age. Missile Base Tours 1 hr historical tour of the Atlas F Missile Base including the underground bunker is available for $20 for adults, $15 for veterans & $10 for children!

Bigfoot Bungalow is a cozy 1-bedroom Airbnb just 2 blocks from Historic Main Street and 5 minutes from I-70, ideal for travelers. It features a queen bed, Smart TVs, walk-in shower, kitchenette with fridge, coffee bar, microwave, and air fryer, plus dining for two. Enjoy the private balcony and prairie sunsets. Pets welcome with approval ($25/day, max 2). Guests also have access to community laundry, grill, firepit, fenced park yard. Stairs required.

South Fork Lodge

Just outside the city limits of Osborne along the south fork Solomon River. Very laid back, quiet, peaceful place to stay. If you’re looking for a hunting lodge to stay we have it for you, or just a vacation spot to pass through for a night! Our house has 2 twin beds in it, a full bed, and also a full bed pull out in the couch. We also have a nice air mattress in the house for use as well.
