An absolute gem of a getaway, perfect place to rest and relax in idyllic countryside surroundings. Very comfy bed and such a cute little place. Wood Fired hot tub made star gazing pretty special. Would definitely book again.

What a lovely few days at Rose Cottage with our family. Rodalyn was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and accommodating. On arrival we were welcomed with a thoughtful hamper of treats which the kids loved, the private “garden” is HUGE & was great for the children and our dog to explore, we loved the hot tub, outdoor speakers & lights. The full bookshelf and games in the Cottage were great to keep the kids entertained in the evening too. Also, thanks Rodalyn for the walk recommendation which we all enjoyed. Hope to be back again soon.

We had a wonderful stay - Ben was extremely helpful with any questions we had. The cottage was lovely and we were lucky enough to see deer grazing by the fence in the evening. The hot tub was really toasty and perfect for evening relaxing. Perfectly out of the way and the directions were easy to follow as long as you read them carefully!

I can not recommend highly enough. My son and myself stayed for 3 nights, everything was exactly as described. We felt instantly at home. We shall be returning, many thanks for having us in your lovely lodge.

Lovely little cottage, very clean and private, lots of space and all the amenities you would need. Not too many places to walk to from the cottage, but if you have a car it’s no problem. The tap and run pub is a great pub everyone should check out that is on the doorstep. Also Hanwell vineyard down the road for an enjoyable informative wine tasting experience.

This is a great base to explore Lincoln, Newark and Sherwood Forest. Lots of walks and history in the area. Philip recommended 2 great pubs, Prince Rupert in Newark and Hare & Hounds in Fulbeck. We also really enjoyed the Alpacca Farm and Doddington House. Philip lives close by and came to greet us on arrival. He is very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great and accommodation very clean.

We had a fantastic short break in Peak District and Jack's cottage was the perfect place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful spot in the lovely village of Brassington, but central if you're looking to visit Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton. The cottage was very clean, well maintained and had everything you need - including robes for when you get out of the hot tub! We didn't find parking an issue at all, with plenty of street parking just up the hill towards the Miners Arms pub. Speaking of pubs, the Miners Arms (which is the closest pub to the cottage) appeared to have closed down, but we'd highly recommend The Old Gate Inn which is a little further (3-less than 5 min walk), but has large garden, good ales and great food. Natalie and her husband are friendly, quick to respond to any queries and offered advice on local walks and places to go. Would love to stay at Jack's cottage again, perhaps in the winter with the log burner going!

Just had a fantastic short break in this Parwich cottage. Stunning gardens and surroundings. The cottage has everything you need and more. We parked the car and from the cottage cycled the High Peak and Tissington Trails. Warm and cosy accommodation set in a quiet village with a great pub 2 minutes away. Caroline is a genuine host with your comfort and convenience always a priority. The photographs don’t do this cottage justice. It really is a beautiful place. What can be better after a good walk or cycle than visit the pub then end the evening looking at the stars from the hot tub in the garden ? We will certainly be back, the sooner the better. Many thanks Caroline. We had a super time.

We have just enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay at Barbican cottage. Will definitely be coming back! The house was exactly as lovely as it looked in the pictures and we couldn't have been in a better location for exploring the surrounding area. Crich is a fab place for a short break - just enough going on if you like a bit of life around you, but peaceful too. Bakers opposite the house is great, as was the local pub where we enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch and a lively quiz in the evening. Thank you, Kevin and Manjit, for a 5 star stay! I'd give more if I could!!

I absolutely loved Lucy's home, its in a lovely area with the pub in walking distance , aswell as many others in local villages like Wirksworth and Matlock. This house had everything needed for a relaxing long weekend with the dog so couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for being a brilliant host, I look forward to coming back soon

I had a fantastic stay at Wendy's place. it is set in a stunning location surrounded by open space and views of the hills from the garden. its has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room with a beautiful log burner. This house is great for a trip to the peak district. I would very much recommend this property!

Honestly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, we had everything we needed and more and the personalised touches were just lovely! So cosy, clean and we felt so at home - we are already planning a trip back! 🩷

A beautiful place in a super peaceful part of the world. Loved having the farm animals around and enjoying the breathing room the stay afforded 🥰 Ruth was super helpful with the booking and giving directions, would definitely book again!

This was our second visit to this lovely cosy cottage which is comfortable and well equipped. This time the weather allowed us to enjoy the lovely outdoor space which was a sun trap. The cottage is walking distance to the village centre amenities and both the Devonshire arms and Charles Cotton Pubs. We returned to enjoy the cycling in the area and it is very close to both the Tissington trail and the start of the Manifoild trail at Hulme End. The garage was a big plus to store our E-bikes and cycle carrier safely and securely.

Louise’s cottage was lovely. I had a wonderful two day break there with my dog and it was very comfortable and homely. Well equipped and located centrally. Louise was very helpful.

Had a lovely time in Mountsorrel. Lucie’s cottage is perfect. There are a number of excellent restaurants and cafes locally and great walks by the canal. Communication was great from start to finish and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Totally faultless. Everything you need and more. Every extra touch provided - including very generous welcome hamper and Easter tasteful decorations. Everything for a pet, or a picnic, staying in or going out. Modern technology including iMac, WiFi and sky. Nothing missing from the kitchen for any cook. Bedrooms and bathrooms (linen, towels, robes, toiletries) had the feel of a five star hotel. Charming hosts. I could go on. I had high expectations as is rated 10, but we were all astounded at how incredibly tasteful and well equipped it was, and to a high decorative standard. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. Impressive pool, garden furniture and landscaping to make the most of the sun. Ideal location for touring local sites. Izzy and partner were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

really enjoyed our stay here. Julie and her husband are both very friendly and helpful. the cottage is beautiful, very well set out for kids and pets. It was one of the most well equipped air b&b's I have stayed in. Thank you very much we will be back!

Returning to this lovely Airbnb was like stepping back into a great memory. Everything was just as cozy, clean, and welcoming as we remembered. The space had that same comforting charm, and it felt even better this time around. It was so nice to relive the calm, the vibe, and all the little touches that made our last stay special. To start, very easy to find and easy to get into, Richard's instructions are clear and precise. Once inside it looked just like the photos,instructions on how to connect to Internet and use facilities are straightforward. Very comfortable beds, the shower wasn't as powerful as I'd like but i can forgive that.The cottage is well located for visiting local attractions and although next to a pub is very peaceful. Will definitely look to stay here again

Beautiful place. So many thoughtful touches. Wish we could have stayed there a lot longer, and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in the area.

Absolutely great little gem. The perfect place to use as a base to explore. We walked from here to the Heights of Abraham and all around the town. Perfectly situated for the local Sainsburys if you to eat in and the kitchen great. Thank you Oliver, we had an amazing time.
