Nice clean apparentment that comfortably hosted two people for a couple nights. The location is great: 20 minutes from the Galway city center by foot, which is far enough to get a quiet nighttime. You can also see the sea from the little balcony, which is nice. Martina is perhaps the friendliest person in Ireland, she even taught us some Irish :)

Johnstons is great! Kinvarra is such a charming town and this place is a great spot for exploring it. Lily and Richard were very easy to chat with, and had lots of great local recommendations. The apartment is huge and filled with art and posters reflecting the history of the building. It also has easily one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb. And of course Aunt Agnes.

Great place, hosts are very welcoming and responsive. Couldn't ask for a better location, even the neighbours are very friendly. Nothing to say price wise because well accommodation is not cheap in Ireland, it is to be expected but for the comfort (place and location) we had compared to other places this was a sure bet.

Great place to stay. Wonderful view of the bay and ocean. Nice large apartment with nice living space and very large patio with stunning views. You would be hard pressed to find another place with views this nice. Highly recommend!!

The place was fantastic and exactly what my wife and I needed after driving through the country side for a few days. It’s in a perfect location to walk to the city center and Quay Street for food and drinks. The balcony was perfect for watching the ships come and go and for a little bit of a view when winding down. Would recommend to anyone needing a comfy place to stay a few days in Galway.

This apartment is in a great location with plenty of great restaurants and pubs within walking distance. There are a great number of excellent musicians of all genres both in the streets and in the pubs, creating a very unique and memorable experience. The check in process was very easy and straightforward and finding the place was very simple, exactly like it said in the description with little room for interpretation. The apartment was immaculately clean and in a nice quiet area. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Galway.

We had a great stay in this beautiful home from home which had everything and more that we needed. Liam was a friendly and knowledgeable host and Clarecastle is a lovely town. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very well equipped with everything we needed. There is a lovely view onto the marina from the balcony and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. It is in walking distance to restaurants and cafes along the river. Susanne was very helpful and let us know when the apartment was ready so we could check in. I will recommend this apartment to friends and family and hope to return soon.

Beautiful and comfy place with a lovely backyard. Maria was very helpful with her recommendations for restaurants and Galway market. Really short walk to groceries, and about a 30 minute walk to downtown.

Our stay was picturesque, and everything we could have hoped for. The homes spacious rooms and many windows made it sinfully easy to sit and spend hours sipping coffee and watching the water and scenery. None of us were prepared to leave when our reservation was over, and I certainly left a piece of my heart among the greenery. T was responsive and helpful, and their recommendations for local experiences were invaluable.

We had a great stay. The cottage was very clean and quiet. Helen communicated very well by sending details before we arrived, responding very quickly to instructions, and was very accommodating! The extra touches like fresh bread were grand

We had a wonderful stay at Stormont House. The house is in a beautiful location. Very peaceful but 5 mins walk to shops. Perfect as a base for touring or just a very relaxing break. House is immaculate and very spacious. Hosts helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Aidan and Ciara’s place was immaculate, peaceful, and overall a great place to stay with easy access to the city of Galway, nestled between nature and urbanization. The instructions were clear, and the host’s recommendations were very helpful!

Grazie Marianne, e grazie anche a Ann e a Seamus: ci avete dato dato un'accoglienza meravigliosa! Speriamo proprio di riuscire a tornare. L'appartamento è in una zona da cartolina: attraverso la passerella sul fiume Shannon si arriva comodamente in centro, dove si trovano molti locali carini. Noi una sera abbiamo cenato da O'Donovan (a Ballina, dall'altra parte del fiume): consigliatissimo! Percorrendo la comoda ciclabile verso nord, in 3km circa si arriva all'imbocco per i sentieri della Ballycuggaran Forest, da cui il panorama sul lago Derg lascia a bocca aperta; è un paradiso per il trail running. Nell'appartamento c'è tutto quello che serve e anche di più: lavatrice, cucina con ogni comodità compresa lavastoviglie, due comodi e fornitissimi bagni... e se alla sera piove troppo per uscire (o sei troppo stanco), in soggiorno ci si può rilassare su due comodi divani guardando contenuti in streaming (ci sono Apple TV e Internet). Insomma: un gioiello! Grazie ragazzi ;-)

had a really good time. salthill is right on the see so beautiful views and the view from the living room in the apartment is spectacular. lots of local pubs dotted around. the apartment was brilliant. 2 good sized bedrooms, one of them en suite. kitchen is a decent size and had everything you need to cook up some food. sitting room was lovely with two big recliner sofas and beautiful vistas. walkable into the city centre if you're a decent walker, it's about 2km and perfectly flat. if you're not or you're with someone who isn't a walker there is a bus just round the corner that takes about 5 mins and is fairly regular. car parking around the area is free but very busy so having a dedicated parking space was great.

Location, location, location! The space is a bit out dated but it was perfect for four adults in the heart of Galway. Fruit, milk, and juice on arrival was a lovely touch. Excellent communication, comfy beds, coffee, and great travel tips helped make our stay so nice.

We absolutely loved this spot for our time in Galway. Easy parking (if the building lot is full you can park for free across the street) and a playground right across the street. Super family friendly place and had all we needed. The fridge is smaller but was sufficient for our 4 night stay. If you would be doing lots of cooking at home, it might be a little cramped. We mostly drove into the city, but you could easily walk it as well. Absolutely can recommend this spot!

Just back from 2 night 3 day stay in the beautiful boathouse right on Mountshannon harbour. It was perfect accommodation in an idyllic setting. It is modern, spotless, comfortable, cosy and has everything required for a lovely stay from the well stocked kitchen to very comfortable bed, large smart TV and the most fabulous views across Lough Derg. A great weekend spent swimming in lake right outside the Boathouse, walking on trails Aisling recommended to eating in local River Run restaurant to relaxing at the harbour in beautiful surroundings. Next time we will definitely take one of the boat trips available. We were lucky with fantastic weather but the boathouse would be equally lovely in colder weather as it is so cosy and comfortable.
