Our beautiful and secluded countryside retreat at the start of the Brecon Beacons is perfect for those looking to escape from the city for few days, or use as a base to hike the Brecon Beacons. The loft apartment has fantastic views of Skirrid and the Black Mountains, alongside it's modern and comfortable interior, with plentiful hiking and countryside exploration on your doorstep. Feel at peace hearing just the birds and farm animals as you sip your morning coffee, then head out and explore!

Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

The area is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, bird/nature watching or simply relaxing. The village of Longtown is nearby (2 miles) with its very own 12th century castle, a traditional local pub/restaurant and an excellent shop selling local produce .

In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Plus you will enjoy complete seclusion and peace and quiet!

Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.

Fully-equipped with a cosy wood stove and floor to ceiling glass doors our hut is a magical place to sit back, unwind and take in the breath-taking surroundings.

The studio is an oh so cute and cosy barn conversion with stunning views of the Golden Valley. Perfect for a weekend getaway for two or a few days of quiet meditation for one. It has a bathroom, kitchenette and bbq, shops and pubs are a ten minute drive. Wonderful local walks and hiking in the Black Mountains just fifteen minutes away - swimming spots, pony trekking or canoeing on the Wye are just some of the activities in the area.

Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.
