George is the best! He’s the neighbor you always wanted - friendly, knowledgeable, immediately responsive, welcoming and brings great recommendations. For us, George was particularly helpful in coordinating tours, guides and even helping to check on logistics. He truly made our stay enjoyable and stacked with a ton of memories and provided concierge level service. The cottage was perfect - full of charm and everything you need with nothing you don’t. Great WiFi speeds if you have to work or stay connected, but the beautiful beach and snorkeling 200’ away will keep you out of the house most of the days. Above and beyond, for sure - George is truly a super host and we would highly recommend staying at his cottage…just as long as you don’t book when we want to return!

This is a great home with everything you need on the north part of the island. The home is comfortable with AC in each bedroom. The location is very private and you essentially have a beach to yourself given how quiet it is on the island. We didn’t see anyone on our part of the beach across a couple days.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

The house and property: Peaceful. Pristine. Private. The host: Friendly. Knowledgeable. Responsive. Our family had a wonderful time at House Marlin! Cathy is a friendly, responsive, knowledgeable host. Check-in was easy. The house is clean and had all the amenities our family needed. We were steps from the beach and our kids loved the pool.

Beautiful home, very tasteful, clean and private. Can’t say enough positives about Jeremiah’s home on Long Island, Bahamas! Our family had a lovely stay and we highly recommend this home if you need a great place to stay on the island. Thompson Bay/Salt Pond/ McCann area is our favorite area on Long Island. Close to lunch or dinner at Tiny’s, plus there is a terrific grocery store in Salt Pond. Be sure to visit Dean’s Blue Hole, Hamilton’s Cave, and your choice of many Atlantic side beaches. Absolutely loved it! The screened in porch and the views from the deck were amazing. Robin and Mike were excellent hosts and recommended several places to eat and stuff to do around the island. We can’t wait to come back!

Nette kleine Unterkunft mit einen tollen Bar direkt daneben. Das Essen sowie die Getränke dort sind wirklich sehr gut und auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Kommunikation mit Michelle hat super und unkompliziert funktioniert. Ein früherer Check In war absolut kein Problem. Ich war hier bereits zum dritten Mal und würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

I have traveled the world and have stayed in over 100 air b n b locations and this was by FAR the most beautiful and exclusive location I have had the pleasure of staying in. It was hard to leave on our last day and it made me want to return to Long Island ASAP. This is a one in a million location and while getting here is a challenge when it comes to flights John and team gave great suggestions on how to get a rental car and clear instructions on how to find the house. If you have an adventurous spirit and want to feel like you are on the edge of the world in the most private and beautiful beach house, this is it. 10 stars, I will 10000% be back. And their care taker David is an absolute gem, full of tips and suggestions of where to go and top secret places to explore. Coyote

My family stayed at Tangerine Sunsets Santa Maria for a glorious week and couldn'thave been happier! The home was immaculate and had most everything we could want in a rental. The beach is one of the best in the Bahamas and we enjoyed walking on it many sunrises and sunsets, as well as swimming out front and snorkeling the small coral head on the south end of the beach. There is also a great gazebo with three chaise loungers that was heaven to relax under with a Pina colada! The house was super clean and well stocked. One thing that wasn't there was a baking sheet. When I inquired with the caretaker, Jimmy, he went out and bought one for the house so I could bake some cookies. Jimmy was very helpful and found us some local eggs, guava jam, and pineapples, as well as bread his wife baked for us to purchase. Jimmy was great! Renters should be aware that house is remote and at almost the end of a long, potholed dirt road. There isn't a lot nearby (except for Cape Santa Maria Resort) in terms of restaurants and the closest grocery store is at least a 20 minute drive. We liked the privacy and spent lots of time at home, so this wasn't a problem for us. There are two other rental units on the property, but they weren't occupied during our stay, so we had the whole place to ourselves which was fabulous. I highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if and when we return to Long Island!
