Even during the busiest of times on the coast you more often than not will find yourself completely alone on the beach. We are family and dog friendly with a fully fenced yard. It takes 7- 8 minutes walking on a well maintained trail to have your toes in the Pacific Ocean. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the roaring ocean waves. We are 10 minute drive from center of Ocean Shores & 15 minutes from Seabrook.

The Heron Hangout is a newly renovated home with an astonishing view of the Willapa Bay. The 2466 sq. ft. house sits on 4 plus acres, secluded from neighbors for a peaceful getaway. The Willapa Bay has an abundance of wildlife; it is common to see Blue Heron, ducks, geese, eagles and deer. Boats and dredges used in the oyster and steamer clam industry go past as the tide goes in and out. Venturing out and exploring all that the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer is just a short drive away.

Oceans Edge Cottage: New Remodel/Walk to Beach/Pet

We’ve upgraded our cottage but it still has that cozy cabin feel that guests love. Private trail across street is a 5 min. walk to the beach. Large backyard with firepit, horseshoes & chairs. Enjoy a break with an evening fire or Netflix movie (Roku smart TV). Log wood/open beams interior with AC/Heat from new mini-split. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults/3-4 children. It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach.
