Great location close to the beach (surf breaks) and local town. Mark was easy to communicate with and gian was super friendly and willing to help out with all our needs. This is a beautiful spot with great views of supersucks. We will definitely be back in the future hopefully a bit more swell next time we are there! Well worth the stay for the price… would highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning, idyllic oasis in the centre of the island. Little paths weave across Gili Air for a quick bike ride in any direction, choose your beach, choose your restaurant - that’s the hardest part of being on this island. So many to choose from! Start your day at the coffee roasters cafe 1 minute away - they do matcha too :-) End your day in the lush pool staring up at the stars. Charlie, the housekeeper, is so friendly and helpful, truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Charlie for organising our luggage, massages in the villa, snorkling, the medic, everything! Can’t wait to return to this peaceful island

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Villa. Besonders die Mitarbeiter die jeden Morgen ein tollen Frühstück zubereitet haben waren super nett.

Our family of four loved staying at Salty Siesta! Even though we got really unlucky with the weather, the apartment was super cozy and we really enjoyed both the cute pool and the many great recommendations from owner Wayne! We were surprised about how many really nice restaurants there were in walking distance - special shout out to Pronto Pizza and Klub Kembali! Wayne took great care of us and was around whenever we needed help or information. The apartment (and the garden) are very well equipped, with a great comfy bed and lots of thoughtful touches. We loved the styling with numerous handpicked decorations. The nearby beach offered great sunsets and good surfing opportunities. We’d love to come again!

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad bij Jana en haar staf. De villa is prachtig, nog mooier dan op de foto’s en brandschoon. De bedden sliepen goed en elke slaapkamer had een eigen badkamer, incl extra badkamer bij het zwembad. De staf was vriendelijk, de massages waren heerlijk, het eten smaakte goed en elke dag werd housekeeping gedaan en werd ons wasgoed meegenomen. Jana dacht actief mee in wat er nodig was om ons verblijf prettig te maken; kinderzitjes, wc bril, ledikantje, kinderstoeltjes, boodschappen. Toen onze kinderen ziek werden heeft Jana voor ons een arts (general practicer) geregeld, die uitstekende medische zorg leverde. Ook dacht het personeel mee over een passende hike in de omgeving. Tot slot is het vervoer vanuit de accommodatie aan te raden (niet alle taxi chauffeurs durven hier te rijden), die vanuit de accommodatie wel. Transport van en naar de airport was eveneens top geregeld. Deze accommodatie is een absolute aanrader voor wie toe is aan een luxe vakantie!

We can’t recommend this place enough- it’s truly heavenly! It is situated in a very peaceful location and yet very close to the beach and all the restaurants and cafés. The property is so beautifully decorated and is a real oasis! The outdoor kitchen and the yoga shalla are so special! There are members of staff present most of the time and they’re very happy to help you with anything you might need (like laundry, getting some groceries etc.). The owner Sherri is so lovely and is always very responsive providing any information/recommendations one might need… if we ever come to Gili Air again we will definitely stay there again! ❤️

If you want a place that feels like home because the people there treat you with such care during your stay, look no further. This place was beyond our expectations. My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and we can go on and on expressing how incredible this village is: the restaurant was delicious in all its meals of the day, the infinity pool had a wonderful view, the bamboo villa was like living in a dream, the pups there were so sweet and the cows coming through in the morning added a nice charm, beach cinema was awesome, our driver was the sweetest, the girls working there were so sweet and helpful, and knowing this village was privately and entirely ours was the perfect cherry on top. Oh, and definitely check out the snorkeling adventure as part of your trip, with Boodie. He was awesome taking us out there and showing us a super fun snorkel adventure of the Gilis.
