The carriage house is on the property of one of Historic Downtown Lancaster's oldest homes and only steps away from museums, restaurants and all that downtown Lancaster has to offer. The carriage house was built around 1840 and is the original structure updated with modern luxury amenities. Upon entering the carriage house, you will be met with a fully equipped kitchen and a full private bath, then proceed up the stairs to the loft portion and enjoy your stay.

Perfectly positioned between vibrant downtown Columbus and the caves and waterfalls of Hocking Hills State Park (each about 35 minutes away), the cottage makes an ideal base for weekend adventurers — or a peaceful escape all on its own.

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.

This home sits on a large hill with 20 private acres and provides you with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds sleeping 6 people. Enjoy the back patio with a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, and plenty of outdoor seating. Only 6 miles to local hiking trails and 5 miles to Walmart and local restaurants.
