We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts live on site, but separately from the airbnb, and they definitely gave us privacy! We were able to communicate with them quickly about how to use the heated pool and customize the hot tub to our preferred settings :) We utilized the fire pit and made s’more’s with a kit they provided, which was awesome!! Clean-up was just place your trash in the breezeway and clean your dishes - nothing excessive. Overall 10/10 visit and definitely recommend!!

Great spot for large groups. We had a group of 12 stay over one night. The property was beautiful and had a lot of spots to wander around, though we didn’t have much time to explore. The bedrooms were nice and comfortably fit us all. The gathering sports in the house were great, too, though we didn’t get to use them much. Our only complaint was the excess of “lady bugs” and stink bugs in the house when we got there, but I understand that is pretty typical for houses this time of year in the area. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would recommend to others.

Lovely home, semi-rural setting but only 10 minutes from downtown. Perfect for our family of five. There is a paved bike path to town just about two blocks away.

Brianna's place was so spacious. Loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. Bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with all kinds of supplies included variety of spices , teas and coffee. Quiet neighborhood. Large town with lots to do.

Amazing house, calm area and still close to everything! We walked to uptown Normal for coffee, shopping, and enjoyed the campus area but it's also easy to access the house by car. The house is really great with lots of space for hanging out as well as getting some alone time if needed. There's outdoor space to enjoy meals and the garden. The kitchen is well equipped and has all appliances needed including a coffee machine, a coffee grinder and an espresso machine. If you're a tea drinker there's a kettle too! Our host Liz was very accommodating and helpful, giving us recommendations based on our interests! She helped us explore not only Bloomington/Normal, but Springfield as well as Chicago! We truly felt at home and would love to come back!

Stayed at Justin’s place while visiting my son for mom’s weekend. Everything was perfect! One of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. Justin was flexible with check in and very responsive to messages. The home was super clean and comfortable in a quiet area. The couches and throws in the living room were soft and so cozy for watching tv and reading. Every amenity you could possibly need was thoughtfully available. Really nice selection of snacks too. Highly recommend Justin’s place to anyone visiting the area. I hope to have a chance to stay here again!

I'm not an advide camper. I took my sister with me to get a weekend away from family. Julie was on top of all my concerns and questions. I may have been too annoying. so I'm sorry if I was. However, if she'll have me I'd love to bring my family back for next spring. perfect for light camping.

This is my second stay at Jennifer’s, and it was just as great as the last time (but with better weather haha). This is a fairly spacious single level home with with a fenced in yard, and the space works for both adults or families. Decatur has some less than ideal neighborhoods, but this neighborhood is quiet and in a good area that is flat and nice for waking up for a run or a walk. You’re less than a minute from Target and Starbucks, and maybe a five minute drive to several restaurants, grocery stores ect. Jennifer takes the time to make you feel welcome with her book that includes several suggestions on where to go and what to eat while in town. Her space is very clean, and bright with lots of windows. Everything in her photos is exactly what the space looks like. I hope to stay here again as this house is within walking distance from my mothers house. If you’re visiting from out of town, this is the best pick in Decatur IMO.
