Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). This 3 bedroom 1902 cottage sleeps 6, with 3 spacious double bedrooms. The panoramic sun lounge over looks our farm animals and wildlife. The light spacious kitchen includes an oil cooking range, electric cooker and all the other essentials you need. The local shop, pub & restaurant are superb and are within walking distance.

Basic kitchen - Loos and showers in the farmyard or own compost loo alongside. This farm is host to a community of volunteers from all over the world and you will be welcome to get involved in our way of life - close to land and seasons, or enjoy seclusion in a place that radiates peace and vitality with unpolluted night skies.

Beautiful Woodland Hobbit/ Fairy/ Witch house Nestled away in our woodland is our roundhouse. Beautifully from straw bales and super insulated with gas hob, wood burner and running water. Come hideaway, hibernate, nestle and nuzzle.. tend fires, read, jump in our lake, pick salad and eggs from the farm... This cabin offers the perfect place to step into a different pace, to be at one with nature, to slow down and think about what matters in the world.

Mongolian yurt sleeping 2+2 with outdoor space

Come and stay in one of our 2 lovely yurts or bring your friends and hire them both! Private location surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months.
