Nesting between the stunning Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains providing the prefect base for Walking, Cycling, fly fishing, horse riding, Wild water swimming, bird watching, star gazing and so much more. Llangynidr - 2 mins drive/ 30min walk, has two pubs and a great village shop (8am-8pm) it has everything and serves a brilliant breakfast! From Llangynidr you have the canal which offers an easy walk either way and Tor y foel mountain.

Golwg y Gamlas (Canal View)

Set in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this canal side spacious property (with en-suite) is set back from the road and offers tranquility. A great range of walks including Pen y Fan can be started from the front door. The traditional local pub (CAMRA award winner) is less than 150 metres away and serves a great variety of dishes. Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal & between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & is heated by our new & efficient heat pump system.

Bumble Bee Cottage

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

Captain’s Lookout is a cosy, self-contained studio on the first floor of an old granary, set within the courtyard of our 1750’s farmhouse. Ideal for romantic getaways or a break in the National Park……Set on the edge of the canal, it looks over a traditional canal boat marina. Easy for walks, bike rides and paddling adventures. Village pub near by which can also be walked to along the magical mon and brec canal. WiFi and TV. Not suitable for dogs, babies or young children.

Coity Cottage

Coity Cottage is one of a pair of pretty pink cottages nestled in the Brecon Beacons. Step through the old stable door into open-plan living. The kitchen is the pride of the cottage & is super well-equipped. Sumptuous linens, pretty curtains & lovely bedroom window views await you upstairs. A very comfortable king-size bedroom with an elegant bathroom next door. There is also a cute upstairs extra sitting room to relax in with more beautiful views.

Beautiful Barn conversion near the base of Mynydd Troed (Foot Mountain) in Brecon Beacons National Park. 1.5 miles to Llangorse lake, 10 miles to Hay-on-Wye. Enter through the oak framed porch into the large open plan leaving area with a well equipped kitchen, and comfy lounge area with wood burning stove and large tv. There is also a downstairs wet room and conservatory. Upstairs there are 2 good sized double rooms, bathroom and balcony.
