The cottage is light and airy with lovely period features.It has a bright dining area overlooking the garden and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has two bedrooms with crisp cotton bedlinen and luxury mattresses to ensure a good nights rest. One bedroom has a King size bed, the other has a single bed. Walk in shower in bathroom. 'The Cwtch' at Dan y Coed is set in the small village of Gilwern near to Crickhowell and Abergavenny. The 200 year old cottage is set on a quiet country lane in the heart of the Brecon Beacons . ‘The Cwtch’ is an annex on the right side of the property. A private part of the house, it does however share the main entrance only. Its self catering with fridge, microwave toaster and a cooker . Hidden down a cobbled lane, this 18th century workers cottage has oodles of charm. An open fireplace, oak beams and traditional furniture allows you to step back in time and really relax. But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close. Crickhowell has a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walking guides and maps are provided.
