Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. Our home is located in the Mount Mitchell Golf Community about an hour from Asheville. Unfortunately, this once highly rated public golf course has suffered greatly from storms and is not playable. However, hiking and sightseeing are the best! We're 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and situated among the Pisgah National Forest where waterfalls and trails are accessible. Our spacious home sits high among trees. Come enjoy the beauty of the area!
