Lismore: soggiorni in cottage

Marg and Chris were fantastic hosts, from their warm welcome to all the local recommendations. We had a wonderful stay in the stunning location. They were generous enough to gift a bottle of bubbles which was a lovely treat to enjoy in the spa. Marg was thoughtful and generous with future travel recommendations. Just like staying in a fairytale cottage. Extremely comfortable, lovely energy and beautifully decorated. Nestled in a very friendly, vibrant and artistic community. Wonderful cafe/restaurant right next door. Enjoyed my stay very much, I will be back for sure.

Skye is the most lovely and friendly host! This was our second time staying with Skye at Windaboo and we love it. Skye goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at home. We loved spending time with Skye's many horse's (most of them rescues), goats, highland bulls, ducks, and cheeky peacock's. They are clearly loved and have found a caring home. The space is cosy and rustic, simple but comfortable. Gardens are peaceful. Close to the national park i.e Minyon Falls Walks 10min drive. We would definitely stay at Windaboo again!

Jeanine was most accomodating at all times. The studio was well appointed with a comfortable King size bed. For me,the pillows could have been softer, but saying that, I feel they would be comfortable for most people. The bathroom is very clean and modern as is the kitchen with all amenities that may be required. I have no hesitation in recommending this airbnb, there was nothing at all that did not meet our expectation. The studio has a lovely private view of treetops and local birdlife when viewed from the interior or sitting on the decking, complete with cushioned chairs and a table. Well priced. We had a wonderful stay! Comfortable and relaxing home for the 7 of us. Awesome big yard, pool and things to do for the kids. Kids loved exploring private pools and also massage pool which was very close by. Will definitely stay here again

Perfectly located just a short stroll from the beach and all the essentials, Gayle’s place had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true retreat, and the home was thoughtfully equipped with all the comforts. Bonus—our pup had the best holiday too! Highly recommend for a tranquil escape with everything at your fingertips.

We had a great stay. The property and surrounding areas were great to explore.

Lovely cottage and well set up. I live a place that has generous facilities such as crockery cutlery and cooking condiments etc. We were able to use the outdoor bungalow which meant our adult family could spread out. Lots of bush turkeys did keep the dog occupied but that is Byron and certainly not unique to Kathy’s. The parking at the rear was very helpful given we have a 4 wheel drive. Loved the walk to the dog beach - so close and we had the opportunity to visit the farmers market on the reserve behind Kathy’s on a Thursday. Thanks again Kathy for the flexible check in and great communication.

We loved staying at Ann’ Seaview Cottage. Nested in the hills, tucked away from busy Byron yet only 15mn drive from it. It’s a serene place for rest and relaxation.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful property and couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. Both Jane & Amy were lovely and ready to help with whatever we needed. The property is so private and peaceful and the tennis court was a definite plus, such a treat getting to play tennis every day! We can’t wait to hopefully stay again!

Ean's place was just beautiful. A peaceful outlook over a lake with complete privacy. The gardens were lovely and the birdlife a real treat. Ean was so helpful and friendly, while still giving us our space. The unique architecture and artistic touches made our stay so enjoyable. We also enjoyed the fireplace on what was a wet day or two. We thoroughly recommend!

Bromeliad cottage was a perfect place to spend a few days - it had everything we needed and the area had a lot to do. We love hiking so Lisa went through a lot of walks as well as providing helpful guidebooks. Also we loved the DVDs, books, and games as there was a bit of down-time due to weather. Must have a car - it is a few kms from Uki but not a walkable road.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage!!! It’s like a little paradise submerged in the jungle life! The place is very spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, had everything we could possibly think of. VERY recommended for a gateway if you want to disconnect from the city life.

Great property, in a good location within easy reach of the centre of Byron. Pictures and description matched the reality, with everything being in order and well described We had four nights there, it was a very pleasant stay

Darren and the crew at Tallow were really great hosts. Darren was very responsive, and adjusted everything he could to accommodate us. There was some construction noise at some point and Darren was very proactive, offering to move us to another cottage, and checking in on us to make sure we were satisfied. We really felt looked after. Great location too. Quiet, close to the beach and the tea tree lakes. What a great stay!

This is the absolute best couples vacation you could have. Not only is Byron Bay a stunningly scenic 20min drive away but the house was picture perfect and an incredible face to spend time away from the city. My partner and I wished we booked longer and definitely want to go back :)

Beautiful and peaceful. The sun in the morning on the deck is delightful. Clean and homely.
