Bohemian Firehouse-an authentic 1916 Firehouse

The Bohemian Firehouse was the living quarters for the men stationed there when it was built in 1916. It sits above a retail space which housed the firetruck. The charming brick building is in near original condition, despite surviving a major flood and a derecho. You'll love the gorgeous woodwork, vintage tile and light fixtures. But you'll appreciate some modern touches like air conditioning, an updated kitchen and smart tv. Still, it's easy to imagine the stories these walls could tell.

Just a quick mile (3 minutes) to the interstate makes this place close enough to be convenient and far enough to be quiet. Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

Unit 1 Newly remodeled studio apartment

This newly remodeled 4-plex is conveniently located near, Czech Village, and New Bohemia. Close to many restaurants, Breweries, local shops, and bars with live music venues. Steps away from bike\walking trail, and Mt Trashmore. 30 min to Amana Colonies, 30 mins Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Minutes away from several other venues in Cedar Rapids, Ia. Each unit has a separate entrance, with a queen bed. There are 3 other units to choose from on the Airbnb site, all similar to this unit.

Just one block from NewBo Market in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, this sparkling clean, cozy and eclectic space is the upstairs apartment of an 1890s era home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Once slated for demolition, the Heart House was fully restored to include a first floor shop and a second floor Airbnb. Guests especially love the clawfoot tub (unless mobility is an issue) with rainfall showerhead.
