Joey and Ayla’s place is one of the most welcoming Airbnb we’ve stayed at. They’ve put a lot of thoughts into making everything as welcoming and relaxing as possible from lots of tips and information to prepare us in advance to lovely welcoming gifts to well stocked supplies of everything we could possibly need. We stayed there with our 2 young kids for a week and there were plenty of things to do in and around the place. The kids loved to play in the garden and sit by the fire in the evening as well as swim in the lake which has nice shallow sandy areas perfect for little ones. There’s also a playground inside the holiday park and a lot of activities to do within short driving distance like Pietersheim, Bokrijk, a prehistoric museum near Leige, and a mining museum in Genk. It was a perfect balance between nature, culture and relaxation. We will definitely stay at Joey and Ayla’s place again.

Met onze vriendengroep hier geweest. Was een hele fijne, mooie locatie. Prachtige omgeving en het tuinhuisje met bar was een leuke bijkomstigheid.

We hebben genoten van het Sonnehuisje. Prachtige groene omgeving. De communicatie met Merel verliep goed.

We stayed at Tom and Brigitte’s cottage in Lanaken for over three months, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. From day one, they were incredibly accommodating and responsive. They were always quick to help with anything we needed. Even for the smallest issues, they took the time to visit the property just to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Their warmth and care truly made a difference. The cottage itself had such a homey and cozy feel. It very quickly felt like our own little retreat. The holiday park is also a beautiful place to be; we really enjoyed the peaceful walks and scenic bike rides through the area. If this was our experience over a long-term stay, I can only imagine how pleasant and smooth a short stay would be! We wholeheartedly recommend this place for both short and long visits, and we hope to return in the future.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans ce logement. Une vraie petite parenthèse enchantée. Le jacuzzi était la raison qui m'ont fait choisir ce bien et il était à la hauteur de mes attentes. Le grand lit est super confortable, les équipements sont tels que décrits. Les éclairages, les plaids, le tourne disque tout un tas de petits éléments contribuent à rendre l'endroit unique. Seul bémol on est arrivés un dimanche, donc personne pour ouvrir la barrière, apparement on est nul en orientation car on a éré 31 minutes à la recherche du chalet....

WAT EEN PARELTJE! Mijn vriend en ik verbleven hier twee nachten, maar zouden er voor altijd hebben willen blijven! Dit ontspanningshuisje overtreft alle verwachtingen! Op voorhand krijg je uitleg over alle faciliteiten. Zo wisten we dat de sauna en jacuzzi 1,5u nemen om op te warmen, waardoor we dit gemakkelijk konden inplannen. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig en je kan de host steeds bereiken om te vragen meer hout te brengen. In de sauna kan je gemakkelijk met twee zitten, heel intiem. De jacuzzi is ruim, heerlijk relaxend! De beamer werkte perfect, je kan genieten van films en series helemaal privé op groot scherm. Het bad is zeer ruim! Dit was de eerste keer dat mijn vriend en ik ontspannen en met voldoende beenruimte samen in bad konden, zalig! De regendouche was super fijn en hier is opnieuw meer dan ruimte genoeg voor twee personen. Het huisje is spik en span, in de keuken is alles aanwezig en het elektrisch bed is zalig! TIP: ga voor de aan-huis massage!

We hadden een fastastisch weekend. Marijke is een zeer goede host en reageerde zeer snel. Ze was ook nog eens heel flexibel. Wij raden aan!

Wat een heerlijk huisje! Echt een aanrader! Gezellig ingericht, voorzien van werkelijk alles wat je nodig hebt en lekker schoon. Ondanks het warme weer was het heerlijk koel in het huisje door de beschutte plek waar het ligt. Het park is heel rustig, en met mooi weer kan je heerlijk zwemmen bij een van de strandjes aan het water. Onze kinderen hebben zich ook goed vermaakt, onder andere in de speeltuintjes. Supermarkt en genoeg uitjes op korte afstand. Hele fijne vakantiebestemming dit!
