When I found this little mobile home community on Miflin Creek, I knew I'd found something special- a peaceful place to kayak,bird watch,fish, and enjoy the beauty of the creek. Today, I'm grateful to share it with my guests. Miflin Creek flows into Wolf Bay and the Gulf, yet you're only 8 minutes from OWA, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. A cozy little log cabin built in the 1930's, 450 sq ft. located in a quaint riverside neighborhood along the Bon Secour River. A private park provides a great place to fish, launch your kayak or just sit and relax. You never know what you might see sitting along the river's edge. Dolphins, turtles, pelicans & herons just to mention a few. Conveniently located, 7 miles to the Gulf beaches , 4 1/2 miles to Tanger Outlet, 7 miles to The Wharf and only 24 miles to the beautiful town of Fairhope.

When you stay at this centrally-located place, your family will be close to everything. The home is ranch-style and located on the canal in a fast-growing beachy community. Minimum stairs if you walk down to the canal. Take advantage of the local golf course which is minutes from the home. Enjoy the beautiful weather, shopping, and the local beaches (Navarre, Pensacola, and Destin) then come home to relax in your home away from home. We do not host parties or special events. Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

Downstairs has bedroom with queen bed, full bath, wash/dryer, kitchen, dining, den with sleeper sofa. . Upstairs bedroom with a balcony, 2 full beds and full bath and PacMan for rainy days!!!
