This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

This was our first experience with an Air B&B and happy that it was with Spencer. Our main reason for the East Coast trip was to see our grandsons football games at Bowdoin College and it was a perfect location. We stayed for seven weeks and loved the experience.

We had an excellent experience in this lovely home. The house was well stocked with everything we could need; it was comfortable and clean and truly exceeded all expectations. Above and beyond down to the last detail. So grateful for our wonderful stay!

Our stay at Kathleen’s place was perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed in our home away from home. The space was spotless, warmly decorated, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay with our small family of three. The location was fantastic—nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet close to great restaurants, attractions, and a park where our toddler could burn off some energy. Kathleen was incredibly considerate, accommodating, and her communication was seamless. Her guidebook was also clutch—we visited many of the restaurants and attractions she recommended. The check-in process, parking, and checkout were thoroughly explained, making everything effortless. Kathleen’s thoughtfulness truly stood out—she provided a highchair, pack ‘n play, and toddler-friendly cutlery, which made our stay even more comfortable. We can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a top-tier Airbnb experience, this is it.

Second stay at the farm house. Two weeks this time. We just love it here. Plenty of space yet cozy, everything you need, lovely outdoors space. We enjooed watching the chickens, dicks and horse next door. I wish we could stay for months. Thank you, Amy and family!

We had an amazing time over valentines day weekend. There was a snow storm and Kent snow blowed around our vehicle to make sure we could get out. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, amazing view of the river and just off the road enough to not be bothered by passing traffic. Definitely recommend!!!!

Katrina's home is always clean and welcoming. The living room (TV area) is comfortable. The dining room table a nice work space if you need to 'work from home' while in her home. The additional half bath on the first floor - a great addition. I am already considering when we will return !

Patrick’s place felt just like home for our family! Everything we wanted to do and see was nearby, and it was nice to have stores and shops walkable from the property. The home itself was very comfortable and was the perfect place to come home to after visiting the National Park and Bar Harbor. Thanks again Patrick!

Great house and good location, it was warm during our stay. Enough space for our company. Not far away from the city. Overall it was nice staying there.

Ryan’s place was just as advertised. It’s was centrally located within walking distance to stores and restaurants within a quiet neighborhood. The home had all one would need to be comfortable. Additionally there was a nice outdoor fire pit and a hot tub. I would recommend Ryan’s place.

Beautiful Airbnb! Everything in the Airbnb was very well thought out. The host was super nice and always quick to respond. My only regret was not spending more time here!

The perfect place for a weekend away with friends! Easy to find/get to, and less than 15 minutes from downtown Portland! The house was extremely clean, well stocked with anything you might need, comfortably furnished, and looked just like the listing. Susan was extremely responsive and helpful! Highly recommend, and we can’t wait for our next stay here!

My stay was very comfortable. The property was well kept and updated. The beds and furniture were were in perfect condition. Both the house and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would visit again!

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

Keith's place was such a cozy stay! The facility was spacious and well-ventilated. Keith was helpful, and the kitchen was equipped with items to cook with. Would love to stay again! The neighborhood cats are very friendly, I enjoyed interacting with them and giving them treats!

Staying at Paul and Shankari’s retreat home was lovely. There was plenty of space for all of us (about 14 people) and the hosts left us great instructions and amenities.

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

Great location and place for short stay. The house is equipped with all necessary tools for comfort staying.

Host was great and friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. Apt was very clean and comfortable. Many extras like Keurig, coffee, tea hot chocolate and water bottles. Cozy extra blankets, fans and fireplace. Bathroom was clean and had liquid soaps, shampoo etc. Not a full kitchen, but all you need. Would definitely stay again.
