Walking trails surround your cabin. Outside there’s a fire pit and a quick path to the water. Maybelle's kitchen has all the cooking essentials and there's a small propane grill outside & the fire pit for cooking. Cell reception is okay in the cabin, wifi is from a Starlink booster! & Window A/C

The Loft on Hobbs Pond

Please read the entire listing before booking! Enjoy the serenity of Hobbs Pond (swimming, kayaking, fishing) while being centrally located with easy access to the beautiful midcoast. The Loft is located on the 2nd fl. of a newly constructed, timber frame barn. This is an open concept studio space with a king sized bed, indoor climbing wall, cozy reading nook, indoor swing, and expansive views of the pond. There is no indoor plumbing - a private portable toilet is around the corner of the barn.

Enjoy this beautiful lakefront cottage on pristine Lake St. George with amazing sunrises. The home is year round and heated. Less than a mile from Lake St. George Brewing Company, John’s Ice Cream, and Lori’s Café, the state park and boat launch is also less than three miles away. First floor has 1 bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom, full kitchen with all essentials, and utility room with a washer and a dryer. The second floor has a half bath and three bedrooms (king, and two queen beds).

Swimming or just relaxing are surely some pastimes you’ll want to include, but if you want to go for a paddle on the lake, there are kayaks, a paddle board, and a pedal boat available. BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

The cabin overlooks peaceul Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
