I just got back from the most peaceful stay at this cozy little cottage in the hills, and honestly, it was the perfect getaway. The place was super quiet and calm, and every morning I woke up to the sound of birds chirping—it felt like a dream. The cottage itself was so cozy, like a little home away from home. The best part? The food! It was amazing—fresh, delicious, and you could tell it was made with love. Every meal was a treat. Surrounded by flowers everywhere, it was like being in a postcard. The colorful blooms and green hills made it all so picturesque. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape with yummy food, this place is definitely it. I already can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Ankit’s homestay! We were a group of 7 traveling together and honestly I was nervous given the winter season and also bcos me and my husband had planned and chosen this place to stay! But, we were more than happy when we arrived and were made to Feel So Totally At Home! Ankit is so sweet and humble, took so much care to make sure we were totally comfortable! He was available 24x7 to make sure our requests and needs were met! We felt so so much at home! Food was also home style and simple and tasty just what we had requested for! Would definitely recommend it! And wud love to come back!

I came here as solo ... didn't expect so much.. seriously it's amazing place ...i would say wow is less than that...surrounding is pristine,pure nature....Such a BLISS Perfect place to unwind & Soak yourself in nature What more one can ask for River ,waterfall ,nature ... All at one place !!!! Should be on every body list 👍👍

Car parking is available just 200 meters away, and then a little trek leads you to this peaceful haven, nestled right in the mountains. No traffic, no honking — only the calming sounds of nature. The homestay is cozy and peaceful. The location is great, and the view from the homestay is amazing. You can sit on the property and enjoy a beautiful sunset. My pet loves this place! The house is a cute little spot that makes you feel like you're in a village. Mayank and his family were incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

The stay was amazing, very clean and staff was extremely helpful. I had a great time and will definitely be visiting again. It was so peaceful and pretty. Everything was organised very well.

A beautiful home in a secluded area… it is ahead of Ranikhet city but you will not miss anything. A home made with love and the thought behind making this beautiful home connects with u in every way. Highlights of the property: 1. The most beautiful sunrise you can witness… if u don’t feel up to step out in the garden then you can literally lie down near the bay window and see the sunrise right from your room. 2. Amazing caretaker Vinod ji.. who will go over and beyond to make you feel at home.. he is a great cook just let him know in advance what u want and you will enjoy each meal. (He makes amazing coffee :)) 3. You have your own private lawn - where you can soak in the place , feel the breeze and look at the amazing night sky ! 4. Rooms are very clean - small details to ensure you have the perfect stay - there is a guest welcome booklet which has got all the details - right from the thought of naming this cottage as Nandmaya to contact details invade of emergency like medical.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful BnB in Almora! The location is nothing short of picturesque, surrounded by breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The host was fantastic—very proactive and provided clear instructions to help us find the property with ease, which made our arrival seamless. The house itself was wonderfully organized, with all the amenities we needed and more. It was thoughtfully arranged to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible, with everything we could think of for a hassle-free experience. The food offered was simply incredible—delicious and made with so much care. One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the stargazing and bonfire experience. It was a magical way to end our evenings, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains. I truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely stay here again when I visit Almora in the future. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic stay at Digvijay’s cottage. It’s in the mid of a tee estate (it’s not a massive tea estate but a small one, but peaceful.) The room is absolutely minimalist but makes you feel like home. It’s a wooden cottage and you get that old time charm. It’s a two story cottage with bedrooms upstairs and bathroom, kitchen, work desk etc. at ground floor. For food, if you are really keen on fancy food probably you can cook yourself as the place has a 2 burner gas stove or you can eat at some eatery before reaching here (No fancy restaurants around). The other option is to ask the caretaker Mr Girish to cook for you. He cooks homely meals and charges for it additionally. Beyond that, on a clear day you can catch glimpse of snow cladded Himalayas from the cabin itself. Parking is available at the property but driving down that Slope could test your driving skills thoroughly. All in all a lovely place to stay. I was there in 3 week of April 2025.
