Your private suite has 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, sunroom and living room space with wood stove. Explore breweries, wineries and Sandbanks park just a short drive away. Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

We call it a cottage, but it's [now] a super well-built house with 100+ acres of fields, pond and trails to explore! An Ontario Parks summer pass is included for your use. When you book you'll see that HST is added to your nightly rate and cleaning fee, and a Municipal Accommodations Tax is added to your nightly rate only. Stays longer than 29 days are exempt from both of these taxes.
