As a child, our family bought a cottage in the Irish Hills - I was blessed with summers spent swimming, fishing, campfires and filling my childhood with memories I still cherish. We bought this cottage to keep those memories alive in a time when it seems easy to forget how simple pure joy can be. Now, we are pleased to share that experience with you. Evans Lake is a private all-sports lake with a sandy bottom-making it a perfect place to unwind from your routine. Welcome to The Lake Affect.

Peaceful cabin in the Irish Hills on South Meadow Lake with access to 4 other lakes (Kelly-Killarney-Allen & Wolf). Minutes from Michigan International Speedway. Newer smoker/grill ready to be used for barbecue on expansive deck. Kayaks available for free to use. Smart TVs on each floor. Internet is available but is not always reliable due to our more rural location. Beautiful great lake with lots of fish to catch! Make wonderful memories at this unique & quiet family-friendly place. A 1 person & 2 person kayak included. Bonfire with s’mores (ingredients are on the house)! A darling treehouse, (read, draw & paint on canvases provided)! A swing-set is in the backyard for the kids to enjoy. Views of lake from the carriage house & views of the garden and woods in the back. Game room below the carriage house for rainy day activities including ping pong, board games and TV. Outdoor games available.

Devils Lake Getaway

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake cottage! This beautiful lakefront escape has everything you need for the perfect summer trip. The upper level features two bedrooms and shared bathroom. The lower level features a primary bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and two living areas (including dedicated workspace). Located between Hillsdale and Adrian - only 10 miles for Adrian College, 17 miles from Michigan International Speedway and 22 miles from Hillsdale College. Come relax at the spacious renovated cottage. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage in the Village of Manitou Beach. Enjoy the outdoors and take advantage of the spacious yard, fire pit, grill, patio, fully enclosed porches, and open floor plan. The cottage is a mere two-minute walk to dining, tavern, shopping, cafe, and the public swimming area. Bring your boat. The public launch is only 1/2 mile down the road.

Take your next weekend or week-long getaway in this adorable cottage right next to Evan's Lake. Enjoy serene water views from the bedroom and living area and savor some morning coffee or tea on the side patio. Take a pair of kayaks out on the water for a relaxing ride or make a campfire by the lake shore to unwind during slow summer evenings. Sorry, there is no boat launch for this lake. Owner lives right next door and is available for any assistance needed.
