Welcome to Asila’s Ark, a characterful sailboat originally commissioned by an author in 1962. With an intriguing history, she has been lovingly restored complete with a king size bed (berth) in the bow locker, a fully equipped kitchen (galley), cozy lounge (mess), a toilet (head), and a shower from the stern, and makes for a perfect couple’s escape. It may be a hut but step through the French doors and the sheer style will blow you away: a rolltop copper bath…it’s all very special. The ultimate thing to do here is throw open the double doors, pop a bottle of fizz and climb into the bath tub or fire up the hot tub for an alfresco soak and star gaze around the fire fit.
