Travelling time from leh city to the property is 20-30 mins, depending on traffic. The property has a storage room cum indoor parking place for one car. Basgo Village was earlier known as Bago village which literally means 'cow's head'. Villagers believe to have a cow's head imprinted on a rock which is well kept surrounded by small stupas at the entrance of Basgo Village. Basgo plays an important role in well preserving the age-old architecture and heritage of Ladakh and the kings.

Our Handcrafted Home is a private home situated in Choglamsar Village, a suburb of Leh in a calm residential area with plenty of greenery. We are away from the buzz in Leh but still very close with 7km to Leh. We started building this house in 2019 with the idea to create a space which feels part of the land it is built on and in harmony with the ecosystem of Ladakh. We love cooking for our guests so dinner and breakfast are included if you wish.
