It used to be an old hop pickers mobile home but has been lovingly restored to a modern, well presented “mini” haven. Located on the edge of Oare marshes that is an important wetland reserve with a range of bird species. This area is popular with bird watches, walkers, wildlife photographers and cyclists or anyone who wants a relaxing break away surrounded by open countryside. There is plenty to do throughout the year wether you want coast, town or countryside it’s all in easy reach for your enjoyment.

Our Idyllic cottage which is set in the country side overlooking the north downs, which offers two guest accommodation. It is separate from the main family home which offers a cosy/secluded space with an open-plan kitchen and living area. It is a relaxing place to spend many an hour watching the wildlife and enjoying the sights and sounds of Kent We have installed for your enjoyment day & night vision cameras so you can watch the birds and ducks by day and badgers and foxes at night.

The Oast Cottage: Private Annex with own entrance.

We are pleased to offer our refurbished annex with double bedroom, private bathroom, own front door and a private field for dogs. Oast Cottage is a converted stables attached to the main Oast House. The Oast is set in a conservation area of Boughton Monchelsea which consists of converted farm buildings, listed houses and a 16th Century pub (directly opposite). The area boasts many places to visit (including Leeds Castle), countryside walks, as well as numerous pubs.

Northdown Lodge

We are a unique rural modern lodge with every luxury, nestled in 3 acres. Beautiful views and walking on the Northdown's way. Great local pubs to enjoy. No better place to relax and unwind watching amazing sunsets, and perhaps sampling our local wine grown next door. Or put your feet up by the log burner and watch a film from our vast collection, perhaps with a homemade afternoon tea (available to book in advance). Whatever your preference, you wont be disappointed.
