It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, Wifi and MORE! This house is the perfect quiet get away for serenity and rest. It is located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the New River, and Stone Mountain State Park. Play golf at Olde Beau, Cedar Brooke, or New River Country Club. Come and sit on the porch or 2 decks to enjoy the peaceful farm life.

The Whip-poor-will's Roost (pets welcome!)

Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).
