Vallakot Farm Miðbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

This newly renovated one-bedroom apartment is located in the peaceful village of Laugar, within 30 minutes' drive of Akureyri, Mývatn and Húsavík. The apartment includes a full kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. A private bathroom with walk-in shower and towel warmer, free toiletries and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are provided. Free parking and private entrance. WiFi is free throughout the premises. A restaurant and grocery store are within 200m of the property.

The houses which were built 2020 have a unique luxurious feel, designed by the owners to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A unique place in the north and ideal for northern lights gazing.

Sólsetur (Sunset) Syðri-Haga

Peaceful and lovely cottage on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi with lovely ocean views. Located on the west side of Eyjafjörður, with majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys. The cottage Sólsetur (Sunset) is 25 square meters, built 2016-2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds and a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equiped. Facilities for four persons. On the terrace there is a geothermal hot tub and a gas grill.

Guesthouse Hvítafell 2

Guesthouse Hvítafell has a private room and a bathroom for 2 persons in a quiet environment. There is a small kitchenette in the room with an electric hob, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, microwave and kitchenware. Guesthouse Hvítafell is in a perfect place, in the north. It close to Goðafoss, Lake Myvatn, Dettifoss, Askja, Akureyri, Húsavík, Ásbyrgi and many beautiful pure natur in Iceland. Guesthouse Hvítafell is in quiet beautiful surroundings

Fermata North Apartment

In Laugar you‘ll find a small supermarket, restaurant, bank, post office and swimming pool. Fermata North is perfectly located to experience the natural wonders of North Iceland, Dettifoss and Ásbyrgi (1-1 1/2 hour) Mývatn, Námaskrð, Dimmuborgir and Mývatn Nature Baths (40 min) Goðafoss waterfall (15 min) and the town of Akureyri (45 min) and Húsavík (30 min). The Diamond Circle is a magnificent circuit of about 260km in the Northeast of Iceland.

Láfsgerði is by the ring road, highway no. 1 and easy to find. The easiest way is to type the name into MAPS and it will take you to the location. Láfsgerði is exceptionally well located in terms of day trips to all the most interesting places in the northeast of Iceland; Goðafoss waterfall is a 5-minute drive away Lake Mývatnssveit 20 minutes' drive Húsavík 30 min. Dettifoss 90 min. Ásbyrgi 60-70 min. Akureyri 40 min. Siglufjörður 1h and 40 min.

Hamrar Farm Apartment

The studio apartment is newly renovated in the basement of our house. You enter a room with two beds ( one 160 cm bed and one 90 cm bed) in the other room is kitchen and bathroom. Me and my familie live on the second floor. We are on a farm and have horses, sheeps, chickens and a dog We are also near by many interesting places, about 30 km from Mývatn, 35 km from Húsavík, 15 km from Goðafoss watefall.

Nice and homie little room in a timber cottage, perfect to unwind and experience the calm and quiet countryside, we are very central to most attractions in the area, and a great location to spot some northern lights during winter. Very little light pollution is in the area. You have everything you need with a small kitchenette and a mini fridge. Full private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer

Cosy cottage in the countryside

Hvoll is a farm with horses, sheeps, dog and a cat. It is located in Þingeyjarsveit by road 854. It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away). Apartment in the country - great view! Apt. B

The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð, a farmland close to the town of Akureyri. The apartment is perfect for four adults, two couples or families traveling on their own. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjörður and Akureyri. Additional fee for more than two guests is  € 18 per guest, per night.

Lítið sumarhús 15 m2 með einu svefnherbergi. Í svefnherberginu er 160x200 cm rúm. Baðherbergi er með sturtu, vaski og salerni. Þá er einnig lítil eldhúsaðstaða með helluborði, örbylgjuofni, ísskáp og helstu eldhúsáhöldum, borð og 2 stólar.
