Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

Ein Refugium im Herzen der Natur. Absolut empfehlenswert. Der perfekte Ort für Entschleunigung!

Draugiški šeikininkai. Pasiūlė už tą pačią kainą geresnį namelį. Atokiau nuo šeimininkų namo, kadangi buvome su šuniukais, tai privatumas labai pasiteisino. Namelyje yra viskas ko reikia. Jūra netoli apie 10 -15 min pėstute. Rekomenduoju mėgstantiems ramybę ir gamtą.

Mājoklis bija tieši tāds, kā gaidīts – mājīgs, skaists, kārtīgs un ar patīkamu atmosfēru. Saimnieks bija atsaucīgs un viegli komunicējams. Vieta ir ļoti attālināta no pilsētas burzmas, kas padara uzturēšanos īpaši mierīgu.

Man ļoti patika,un labprāt braukšu atkal.

Mums ļoti patika mūsu mini atvaļinājums – apartamenti atrodas skaistā vietā pie jūras. Ļoti kompakti, tīri, gaiši, ir viss nepieciešamais dzīvošanai. Jūra tikai 5 minūšu attālumā. Teritorija ir plaša, ir restorāns, SPA, bērnu laukumi. Saimnieks vienmēr bija sazvanāms, ļoti atsaucīgs. Noteikti atgriezīsimies vēlreiz. Ļoti labi, ka var uzturēties ar mājdzīvnieku – mums ir mazs sunītis.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! Laba atrašanās vieta - ļoti tuvu jūrai. Laipna uzņemšana :)

Lieliska vieta, kur atpūsties no pilsētas burzmas. Viss tīrs un pārdomāts. Ļoti atsaucīgi un pretimnākoši saimnieki. Izmantojām arī pirtiņu, kas bija lieliski sagatavota. Patika, ka ir padomāts arī par bērniem, kur var drošā vidē iziet, pastaigāties, rotaļāties bērnu laukumiņā, un pat apskatīt aitiņas. Noteikti vēl atgriezīsimies!

Akmeni Resort was amazing! It was very clean and cozy. Kitchen had all equipment for cooking and a big bonus was coffee machine, as we are big coffee lovers. Beds were big and very comfortable with extra pillows. Outside there was a BBQ and with extra cost we could use jacuzzi or sauna. Grownups had also comfy robes that were perfect after a jacuzzi. The place was perfect with kids, as all they did was having fun in pool or in jacuzzi, or if they had a break from swimming, they could play in the playground or just watch local squirrels play and eat in their cage. Even though there are three other rentals on the spot, it was quite peaceful and we could enjoy sound of crickets in the evening. We really loved this place!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Agris. Die Unterkunft war hygienisch und sehr gemütlich, sodass wir uns bestens entspannen konnten. Agris war äußerst freundlich, sprach sowohl Deutsch als auch Englisch. Er stand uns jederzeit mit persönlichen Tipps zur Verfügung. In der Dämmerung gab es Mücken, und lange Kleidung half dort. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt sehr gut. Danke, Agris!

Das AirBnB war genauso wie beschrieben. Ein sehr schöner Ort für einen Kurzurlaub. Der Strand ist fußläufig nicht weit und das AirBnB ist gut mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr aus Riga zu erreichen. Den schönen Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit konnten wir auf Grund der vielen Moskitos leider nicht nutzen. Die Kommunikation mit Helena war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

We stayed in Egons's place with three children... inside there was enough sleeping places and we had everything we needed. The place has quite big outside area with nice sitting places, trampoline etc. Children were playing football and tennis (we had our net with us), running around and enjoying themselves. As a bonus there was also friendly dog and a cat. Sea is one minute away, good resto "Bermuda" (recommended by Egons) is some minutes by car. We stayed in the place only four days, could imagine to stay longer. :)

A magical visit! We came here for a couple days seeking a quiet getaway from our busy schedules, and were amazed at the peace and beauty we found at this place. We enjoyed feeding the deer, relaxing in the hot tub with the fairy lights and candles outside, and just playing board games while sitting on the deck with a beautiful view to the lake. We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Agnese war sehr schön! Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir waren dort Ende Oktober/ Anfang November, sodass es schon etwas kalt war. Es gab einen Ofen, bei dem wir selbst das Feuer entfachen und versorgen mussten. Das war kein Problem. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig, jedoch liegt das Haus direkt an einer größeren Straße. Im Haus und auch im Schlafzimmer war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen!
