Simple and homey cabin in townMy place is a log cabin on a half-acre of grass, trees, flowers, and gardens 5 minutes from downtown and 15 from UI by car or bike. When it was built in 1940, it was surrounded by similar properties. Now it is an old-fashioned oasis of space and green with new apartments and thriving businesses for neighbors. I have a dog and there are inherent risks due to steps, stairs, and other things. Please see Other Things to Note.
Private room close to Main Street and U of IThanks for your interest in my home! This private room is located downstairs adjacent to the dining room and kitchen. The bathroom is shared with my caretaker, Cera Baldwin, who lives in my house while I am away traveling. This room is dog friendly but meticulously cleaned after each guest, including the canine sort. I do also have an upstairs room option where dogs are not allowed. Dogs are welcome to use my fenced backyard. No cats, sorry for the inconvenience.
Cute private room downtown, 10 min walk to campus!My 4BR house is close to downtown and the U of I, a 7 min walk to the heart of Main Street and a 10 min walk to campus. Built in 1900, the house has the charm of old Moscow and the comforts of new renovation. The house is shared between you and my caretaker Cera, who is taking care of my dog while I’m traveling abroad for a year. This guestroom (the available room here) shares a bathroom with one other guestroom. All common rooms are open and welcome to be used.
