Relax in your own private luxury hot tub attached to the large cottage deck. Experience the unique outdoor rainfall shower, explore the lake with provided kayaks, hike the private trail to a water cascade & finish the day unwinding under the stars while having a lakeside bonfire! Escape to our serene 5-bedroom retreat, perfect for the whole family! This charming historic home has been recently relocated to its new site and is a brand-new Airbnb listing. Please note that landscaping is currently in progress, so some outdoor areas may still be developing. Just 2 minutes from the village center, this spacious home offers a private lot, a cozy living area, and modern amenities. Enjoy a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home in this unique and welcoming space!

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Caper's Charm

Welcome to your lakeside escape on the Bras d’Or Lake! This lovely 2-bdrm apartment sits on a quaint little hobby farm where the days start slow and the views are always changing. Step outside and say hello to our friendly flock of chickens and ducks, then meet the farm’s “welcome committee”: Mack and Brea, our two sweet dogs. With plenty of local wildlife passing through, you can sip your coffee or an evening drink, enjoying front-row seats to nature, all day or under the sunset sky.

Most Cape Breton attractions are between 45 minutes and 2 hours from us — ideal for scenic day trips while enjoying peaceful waterfront evenings. Don’t forget the hot tub, kayaking, clam digging, fishing off the wharf, and nearby hiking. Includes excellent internet, BBQ, washer/dryer, linens, and most condiments.
