This was our 3rd stay at Cathy’s cottage. We visited family in the area and enjoyed some quiet mornings overlooking the frozen lake. As usual, Cathy’s cottage was immaculate and well-equipped. It remains the cleanest airbnb I have ever stayed at. My husband and I look forward to our stay each time. The cottage has become a home away from home! 10/10 recommend!

This home is a golden retreat! i walked in and immediately felt at home. it was welcoming, pristine clean and cozy! I wish I could have stayed longer. Bill was an AMAZING HOST! I would definitely stay here again.

Stairway to the lake - lake home with rustic charm

Marlene's place was a beautiful, relaxing retreat for us. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking over the lake. It was too cold to get in but would be wonderful in the warm weather. There were plenty of sleeping options and great views. We didn't eat many meals at the house, but appreciated the coffee maker!

My goodness, the pictures dont do this place justice. I think we underpaid! The house was beautiful, the surroundings were amazing, 10/10 highly recommend. Joseph was timely in his responses, we had no issues with entry or accommodations. A word of advice to future guests, carpool or travel in the least amount of vehicles possible, the parking is scarce and we would not want to impede on such a beautiful neighborhood with a procession of cars. Thank you Joseph 100%!

Peaceful Lake Retreat with Sauna

This is much more than just a place to crash at night. Joyce has put many touches in this space that make it lovely and relaxing. The kitchen was very well resourced, everything you need for cooking - with a good gas stove and oven, allowed for baking and cooking without needing to go out for meals. There was a pantry with basic spices, cooking oil, condiments, etc. Good hiking all around, and a kayak for a lovely afternoon out on the forested end of the lake. The bed is comfortable, with nice quality linens. There was a exercise room - appreciated also. Joyce is very friendly and responsive for anything you might need. Totally recommend.

I just wish I could hide this place but it’s too awesome not to sleeves! This stay was simply blissful. The apartment was pristine and beyond my expectations. The host was super friendly and made sure my stay was as relaxing as possible. The amenities provided were above and beyond. There were skincare freebies and a personalized chocolate bar. 1000/10 highly recommended.

The cottage was great for our purposes over the Christmas holiday. Great views from the windows at the back of the house. The host was very accommodating. I can see where this would be a fun place to be in the summer!

our stay here was amazing. Jamie was very responsive and her attention to detail with EVERYTHING cannot be beat. if you forgot anything from toiletries to even snacks, she has you covered. the place is more beautiful than the pictures. will keep this listing for future stays in lancing. loved the proximity to historical sites to walk around.

Fun Barndominium close to town

The space was amazing. We stayed 4 nights for our 1 year anniversary. The hosts provided a beautiful assortment of snacks and chocolate for us for a special anniversary treat. The hosts recommended restaurants to us that were amazing. Space was clean and cozy. The hosts were very polite giving us a friendly hello every time we crossed paths but they also gave us privacy. Once in the space it feels very private and homey. Bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of space for the 2 of us to lounge around. Hot tube was warm and private. No complaints would recommend for any couple that needs a get away.

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

This house is a beautiful place to gather a group of people. The setting was gorgeous. We fell asleep to the spring peepers and awoke to the sandhill cranes. The house was gorgeous with fun nooks for all to inhabit. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The kitchen was well appointed. We would stay here again!

A TRUE GEM!! Very cozy and perfect for our family and pup! The area was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! There is a nice size body of water behind the peppery that attracts some very beautiful animals that can be seen throughout the day. We saw deer, geese, otters, rabbits and so many beautiful birds! Stephanie was EXTREMELY hospitable and always very responsive. We really appreciated this. Thank you!! We look forward to coming back!
