Cosy Cottage on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula

Cosy Stoneturner's cottage was originally a workshop for the local serpentine stone, which is found nowhere else in England. The cottage has been attractively refurbished to provide comfortable and peaceful holiday accommodation. Although fully modernised the cottage retains many of its original features, including an attractive window seat in the lounge. The cottage also benefits from a log burner. All on the ground floor, the accommodation is fully equipped, with a quiet and secluded garden.

You will never tire of the view; it will keep you spellbound.

Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing.

The sweeping coastal view from our town centre apartment is the same one described by Virginia Woolf in her novel To the Lighthouse, inspired by summers in St Ives: 'as far as the eye could see, fading in soft low pleats, the green sand dunes, running away into some moon country'. Quietly tucked away, the apartment is ideally situated for summer and winter breaks, and remote working. The harbour is a two minute stroll, Porthmeor and Porthminster beaches a short walk. Accommodation for two in quiet village, thirty nine steps above the beach, with direct access onto coast path. Fantastic views, clean air and rural surroundings in a well equipped annexe. Please note we are fairly isolated with no shop but the pub has recently sold and will reopen November2025. Up date….hurrah the village pub, the Five Pilchards, a 3 minute walk away, is now open with a great menu as well!.
