Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Located on the ground floor of our primary residence with its own separate entrance, this fully equipped studio apartment was built in the original stable area of a 150 year old carriage house. On-site parking in a safe neighborhood of high end converted warehouse condos. Just steps from Excelsior, Marriot, Central Market, Tellus360, Fulton Opera House, art galleries, and everything Lancaster City has to offer. Smoking is not permitted and pets are welcome for an additional $20.

Boasting a French country esthetic, this little darling has the most captivating views of rolling hills, a brook, and lush green farmland.

Our end-of-row home is perfectly situated several blocks from the square in Lancaster, an easy walking distance to all the downtown cafes, boutiques and Central Market. We want our guests to feel at home-away-from-home in our space, whether drinking coffee in the morning by the front windows, taking a nap on the sofa in the afternoon or making a drink in the kitchen at night.
