Great view of the river, passing ships, and fantastic sunsets… which is what we were looking for in our few days up on the River. place was nice and cozy. wish we had more time to relax and enjoy. I’d return here again!

Our stay was amazing. Simply put the lake house us relaxing, with everything was easy. The home is clean with everything we needed for the best mini vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the comfort as did we for having a space we can travel that is inclusive to dig parents. The lake house is a home, away from home that provides a space to visit with family who live in this area. The scene out the windows I pure magic. What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

Kiara’s place is absolutely stunning. When you first drive in you’re greeted by the two most adorable goats! The house is at the end of the road, making is peaceful and private, your own little oasis. While the photos are beautiful the actual home is even better in person! It’s bright and airy and super fun! You have games, fire pit, an outdoor cooking space and the starlink is amazing! I was working and had no issues connecting to all of my work calls / meetings / etc. Kiara is also so lovely! She’s kind, responsive and super helpful! My travel plans changed twice and she was incredible and accommodating! I really can’t say enough about this host and location! I would HIGHLY recommend! You’re also super close to Kemptville for any groceries and Merrickville which has adorable shops. Not to mention a two minute drive to the highway to get you anywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kyle's cottage. We were 2 couples staying for a relaxing weekend. The cottage was super clean with everything you could possibly need for a perfect time. the hot tub was clean and ready for use. Kyle was kind and answered all our questions quickly. We would 100% reccomend Kyle's cottage. We will return!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

It was a wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. Sparkling clean, well furnished, with more amenities than you could ever imagine. We stayed for 3 days but wish it could have been 3 weeks.

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

Such a wonderful spot to escape to in South Frontenac!! The location right on the water was peaceful, and the amenities made it great for spending quality time together. We loved having access to the kayaks and a great selection of board games. The house came fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen – there were lots of extra supplies that were easy to find. The fire pit was also the perfect spot to make s’mores in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our booking and stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!

We had a lovely time at Serene oak cottage! The place was cosy and comfortable, with easy access to the lakefront. It was the perfect size for 2 couples. We enjoyed our slow mornings and did some meal prep - the kitchen which was fully equipped. Linda was kind enough to leave us her homemade jam which we enjoyed as well! We explored the town of Perth during our stay. We packed some groceries on our way there as the closest store or restaurants were about 30-45 min away. Sadly Bon Echo park was still closed but we sure hope to check it out next time! Thanks Linda for being such an amazing host 😊

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

We had a wonderful family getaway in early March. It was cozy, comfortable, and everything we needed.

We booked this place for our anniversary weekend and it was nothing but amazing. The views are incredible & we got to see so much wildlife during our stay. The inside of the house feels like home. It is so beautifully decorated and cozy. We cannot wait to come back and have another peaceful, relaxing weekend.

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

A cozy, secluded, minimalist cabin/pod perched on the edge of a vibrant wetlands, the Wood Duck had everything I was looking for and more, combining the feeling of wild camping with the comforts of a solid, heated structure with a barbecue, mini-fridge, microwave, and all sorts of wonderful added features, from a solar shower to a smart TV (!) to canoe and kayak access. It's rare to find a place on airbnb that gives such genuine value for such a fair price, and that actually delivers the privacy it promises, and the more one explores what Zac and Steph have to offer through Deacon Escarpment Cabins, Camping and Trails, the more one comes to appreciate how lovingly and respectfully they've set things up for people to really immerse themselves in nature, and have a wonderful time doing it. As a bonus, communication was warm, simple and straightforward, and I was so appreciative of the ease and flexibility of checking in and out. Would love to return - thanks again, Zac and Steph!

Arriving at the cottage was how the pictures were. We went in March and it was cold, but walking into the cottage part the heat was on and we felt right at home. Kitchen & bathroom well stocked. The fireplace was great to have to add warmth. Beautiful scenery looking over the lake from a chair or sofa. A place we would rent again.

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

Magret's cabin was the perfect place to spend a relaxing and restorative birthday weekend. As soon as we stepped inside, we felt at home. Super cozy and charmingly decorated, it literally had everything we needed and more. I've stayed at many airbnbs and the kitchen was the best stocked and equipped for making meals. The king bed was super comfy and I had the best sleeps. The property was so pretty and we enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. Last but not least, Arthur the neighbour cat was a quirky and welcoming little fellow and we enjoyed his visits.

What a great little cabin to spend a cozy weekend! Waking up to such beautiful views of the lake it's just something else. We loved the hot tub overlooking the lake while it snowed. The fireplace by the bay window it's just so cozy. Charlotte let us stay a little longer because we arrived late, she was really kind and thoughtful! Highly recommended to escape the hustle of the city for a few days and disconnect!
