Five miles east is the village of Pecos with the Pecos River for fishing, hiking, and exploring. Sixteen miles north is the legendary city of Santa Fe packed with world-class art and culture

The Hamilton: A Lux 1920s Train Car Near Santa Fe

The Hamilton is a 1920s Pullman train car located in the historic village of Lamy, NM in it's own tree lined park next to the Lamy Train Station where Amtrak stops twice daily. A 20 minute drive from Santa Fe makes this is a great getaway while staying close to the action. The Hamilton is a 2 min walk to the soon to be opened El Ortiz Cafe, Nuckolls Beer Garden and The Legal Tender Restaurant. The large acreage here is also used for tent camping in the summer months near the little lake and RV Sites are scattered with one being beside this house.
